BUT, should you not use your initial reservation, you can receive a credit for a year. NOTWITHSTANDING: I recommend this service for its cleanliness, punctuality, and efficiency. My experience with the dispatcher and the driver were excellent. My mother passed a year ago in March, 2019. I initially scheduled personal service from Orlando to The Ocala HIlton for two but had to cancel both reservations due to serious illnesses of me and my daughter. My mother was buried at the Ocala cemetery without us. With no plans to ever again visit Ocala, I asked for a refund of over $220.00. It was denied in spite of the reasons for my cancelling. Suffice to say that I then filed a complaint with the State Attorney General but rescinded it after I decided to make the trip to Ocala in July, 2019. I accepted the credit and flew to Orlando and used part of the credit then with the remainder eligible through March, 2020. I scheduled ground transportation with Shannon, the Shuttleliner Dispatcher, between the airport, an Ocala hotel, and cemetery. Shannon and my assigned driver, JOE, were sensitive to my needs. I was shuttled royally throughout my trip between the airport, hotel, cemetery and return to Orlando Airport within a 24 hour turnaround: I was dropped off around 10pm and picked up by Joe 8 hours later to sprint to the cemetery and then to the airport. Joe not only stayed with me at the cemetery while I sobbed over my parents' graves in my grief and took photos for me. He prayed aloud while I sobbed. His compassion and kindness were poignant. I am still in awe of his and Shannon's understanding and demeanor with me. There are no words that can capture my gratefulness and their compassion and friendship at that time. I am returning to visit the graves where both my parents lie and I look forward to visiting with Joe and Shannon, again. I recommend them highly. Thank you for your kindnesses. You went beyond expectation and profession for which I cannot thank you enough! You are professional and very personable! I will see you sometime this Spring, 2020! Uber and Lyft don't let you schedule rides ahead of time in Ocala, and it is about $175 to Orlando airport with those services. And once a local Lyft driver came to my house and said "I can't go all the way to the airport this morning, sorry, but I can come back this afternoon and take you then." (!!!) and then he left, with me standing in my front yard with my luggage. I decided not to risk that again. And especially with such an early morning flight, and maybe not a lot of Uber/Lyft drivers awake on a Monday morning in Ocala, I looked online for shuttle options. I live very close to the Villages (I'm barely in Ocala), but when I called up a shuttle service there they loudly scolded me saying they were a local Villages services only. Shuttleliner was basically the only option, and the shuttle leaving Ocala at 6AM meant needing to be picked up at 5AM, which was the main downside compared to personal taxi services. I was able to book the night before, a bit last minute, which was convenient. I thought I'd sleep on the shuttle on the way there but instead ended up talking with the driver James and a group of other passengers the whole way there. It was a great time. When we were getting close to Orlando around 7:30AM or so I realized that I didn't have any cash on me to tip James, so I went on facebook on my phone and sent a Messenger to Shuttleliner asking if I could add tip via credit card (I realize that I should probably have done this online the night before). The owner responded right away in the affirmative and when we arrived I showed James his tip via the conversation with the owner on my phone. Very pleased with the experience overall. read more

I've used ShuttlelinerOfOcala a number of times over the years, to travel to & from Orlando International Airport, including trips my sister has made to visit me. Past few trips I've used your convenient pick up at home service. You've always provided on-time, courteous, clean, reliable transportation! I have several disabilities and concerns, which were met to the fullest. In fact, Erin, my driver, made sure my entering and exiting his van was made safely. And like I read in other reviews, he even offered me a pillow and said that if ever the van was full, I need to speak up and request the front passenger seat, for further comfort and safety (because of my disability). My son-in-law made the reservations online, and the confirming emails sent to me were accurate. Shannon fielded my phone calls on the day of outbound travel professionally and friendly. The answering service confirmed my pickup time and driver when I called on my inbound return trip. I was certainly glad to have Erin again! Additionally, he had found an item I left in his van when I exited at the airport. and returned it to me on my way home, stopping at the office to retrieve it from your lost and found. I've been using Shuttle Liner for some time now; approximately 3 years. The prices keep climbing and are soon to be equally as expensive as Uber and Lake Limo. The pricing is what keeps me coming back. Customer service has been acceptable and I've never had cause to complain . However I was not impressed with my last trip . The driver "James" and the staff at Shuttle Liner apparently found much delight in the fact that I double checked to see if my driver was indeed who he said he was when he called to let me know that he would be picking me up earlier than expected from the airport. He called from his personal cell phone. I didn't know who James was and apparently he goes by a different name at the company so they did not readily know who he was themselves. I casually mentioned that for all I know , the person calling could be a serial killer. As a surviving victim of both abduction and rape... I found the mockery to be juvenile, mean spirited and in poor taste. Maybe the fact that I was a company-wide joke should have been reserved. I imagine there would be no humor to be found if this actually happened to any one of them or someone they love. Shuttle Liner/ Staff ...Tacky and unprofessional. That is my opinion. Update: I do believe in giving praise where praise is due, and also accurate and informative criticism if I've been let down with any goods or services that I've purchased. Let's face it--as consumers doing business online in this modern world, we rely on the unbiased feedback of others, and we don't want to waste time, nor do most of us have money to burn. Therefore I'm always ecstatic when my experiences with a business meet and/or excel my expectations. This was the first time in my almost 64 years that I've ever had to use a shuttle service, and Shuttleliner of Ocala did not disappoint. In fact, the entire experience with Shuttleliner was great! The drivers were excellent and made me feel safe. The van was very nice, clean and roomy. Despite my multiple medical problems, the trip going and coming was quite comfortable. The entire staff, from the beginning of my contact with them to the end, was very attentive, professional and courteous. It's nice to know that I don't have to hunt for a reliable and affordable shuttle service if the need arises again. I love being able to support this family-owned business run by Giovanni. First the online reservation service was not working when I made the reservation. I wanted a round trip which entitled me to a discount. That didn't happen. I was scheduled for a noon pickup on my return. It was a Saturday and I had made prior plans for that morning to have a going away breakfast with some friends before the Shuttle ride to Orlando. I got a call stating I would be picked up at 8:00A.M. instead. That was not what I contracted for. They gave me a choice of a credit, a private shuttle for $175.00 (one way) or take the 8:00 A.M. service. I used the private shuttle last year for $300.00 round trip due to covid-19, that was all that was available. I have used this service for years but this is probably the last time. I have no issues with the drivers, Jeff was on time ,very professional and a safe driver. My problem is with the way this company is being run. I can't recommend this service as I have before. I don't want to call this a "Bait and Switch" operation, but to hear they have vehicle issues is a pretty lame excuse.That is what the dispatcher told me. As usual, we depended on Shuttleliner of Ocala to get us to and from Orlando Airport. On the first leg, I was a solo passenger, with Jose' driving. It was a smooth ride, but we were stopped by an hour-long wait for multiple wrecks before the end of the trip. He remained calm and handled the stress of the traffic very well. On the return trip, I was part of the "sardine can" crowd -- a full shuttle. Shannon was our excellent driver, with overtaxed packing skills. She was great but many of us had to wedge our luggage under our feet. One reason for the "missing 5th star" is the lack of room for luggage. There was no way that two suitcases per person, much less "additional baggage for an extra fee", could have safely fit into this van. As it was, the cases were stacked in back above the headrests. I recommend adding a cage along the back of the cargo hold for safety. The second reason for only four stars is a recommendation for cleaning the vans between trips while banning strongly scented incense or oils that can be irritants for passengers (previous trip). read more

I had a business trip to Hartford, CT with a one day turnaround. I live in Gainesville, flew out of Orlando. Flight left Orlando at 10:30 a.m. returned at 11:00 p.m. that same day. Considered driving to/from airport, family member driving me and picking me up, Uber, or Lyft. I was concerned I would be too tired driving late at night 2+ hours from the airport to home. By Googling I found Shuttleliner of Ocala. They have a pick up spot in Gainesville, and drop off at Orlando airport. Their last return from the airport south was at 7:00 p.m. but they offer car service to your home as needed. Shuttle to the airport from Gainesville was $80 one way, private drive from Orlando to my home was comparable price to Uber and I had someone waiting for me when I arrived at airport. Shannon the office manager, James the shuttle driver and Rene the private driver were courteous, confirmed times and places and kept me informed. I've used this service previously, but have never written a review. I couldn't have been more pleased with this service! After having made a reservation in the summer of 2020, my trip had to be cancelled due to COVID concerns. I notified Shuttleliner of Ocala that I had to cancel. They left a credit for the trip on their books. Fortunately, I was able to arrange a new flight and called Shuttleliner to use my credit in2 020. The clerk was very friendly and professional. She quickly found my account and I was all set. She rescheduled my pick-up at home and gave me an estimated pick-up time. My driver, Jeff, called me the evening before my trip to confirm. He arrived early the next morning, after alerting me that he would be early. He helped me into the van because I have a physical disability. He loaded my luggage and we arrived at MCO with time to spare. Excellent driver, friendly and professional. I will most assuredly use this company again in the future. read more

My daughter flew into the Orlando airport for spring break. We had understood that some friends could pick her up, but that turned out not to be the case so we were scrambling trying to find transportation. She got in too late for the regular shuttle so we had to hire the individual car. This is pricey, but better than putting her up in a hotel for the night, which is what I thought we'd have to do. Shannon, the driver, kept in touch with me throughout the trip. She had also agreed to make the drive herself to ease my concerns about my daughter traveling alone with a male driver. Then, my daughter's flight was delayed and she missed her connection, delaying her arrival by an hour. Again, Shannon stayed in touch by text and picked my daughter up as soon as she exited the baggage claim. My daughter thought both the car and driver were first-rate. I gave Shannon an extra tip since I was so grateful for her flexibility and good communication with an anxious mom. read more

I recently booked a last-minute flight to Ocala to help my retired parents prepare for (and possibly evacuate due to) Hurricane Milton. At the time the hurricane was projected to hit central Florida and I wanted to make sure my parents were safe. I was able to book a shuttle ride from MCO and shortly after making my reservation I was contacted by Esteban confirming when and where to meet the shuttle. As promised, Esteban arrived as per his message and I arrived at my destination on time. Upon my return home I made another reservation from my parents' home to MCO - again Esteban contacted me a day before confirming his pickup time and arrived on time. Esteban was timely, courteous and professional and we had a great conversation to pass the time en route to the airport. Highly recommend Shuttleliner of Ocala! On November 12, my wife and I used this SHUTTLELINER from the Sleep Inn Motel in Ocala to MCO. The service was exceptional, they had excelente communication between the base and its driver and clientes. The driver was cautious, very friendly, curteous, and honest. When the driver dropped us off at the A terminal and continued on to drop off other passengers, I noticed my personal bag had stayed behind in the front seat on the floor in the van, we immediately called the base' they responded with in just a few minutes telling us the driver was returning to the Terminal A where he had dropped us off. We apologized, he smiled and handed me my bag and away he went. Well from the time I had to have help making my reservation (I won't say who that was but she knows) until Jerry called me several times when I returned from my trip from DTW to MCO, everyone was so helpful. My trip coming back got to Orlando early in the afternoon but I had been up since 5:30 a.m. and after landing, used my walker all the way through the airport and just wanted to find some water or something to grab to eat and get to the Shuttleliner slip. But first I had to get my luggage and by then just wanted to sit down......so I did. That's when I checked my phone and found out they were waiting for me so I went right out and Jerry put my luggage in and off we went. It was a good ride home. My Mom lives in Ocala and I travel in and out of the Orlando airport 6 - 7 times a year. I usually rent a car and there were no rentals available this time (Spring break). My brother was able to pick me up, but I had no way to get back to the airport from Ocala. So, I searched the web and found Shuttleliner of Ocala. I scheduled a pick up at my Mom's residence. I made reservation for my son to be picked up on the 5:00 o'clock trip on Thursday May 17, at MCO. But the flight was delayed 8 hours in Jamaica and I had to reschedule that pick up for the next day. The person who spoke to me was extremely pleasant and helpful. The next day, the flight was delayed again and this time I called to change schedule from 5:00 to 7:00. Again I was greeted with great respect. I ended up calling the office several times because my son who was travelling by himself for the first time, became nervous when he could not find the shuttle in the area described. Each time I was greeted with great respect and understanding. I felt comfortable that my son was in good hands. I will travel with them and recommend them to others. I have used Shuttleliner for quite a while now. Each time the service has been fantastic. Drivers are capable and courteous. The driver this time was Jose who was friendly but didn't regal the riders with info we didn't really need, which I appreciated. Van was clean. Thte only thing I wished they would do is schedule for pickup times at MCO. Every two hours would be definitely customer friendly. My flight got in at 9a, but was early by 20 minutes. Had to wait until noon to leave airport. That left me at airport for 3 hrs dealing with leg and back pain from a nerve injury so leaving a little earlier would have been really wonderful. Despite this, I have no real complaints about this company. Their price charged is way less than other shuttles, so keep up the good work! read more

Shuttleliner of Ocala is as good as it gets! I have been using them for a number of years when I visit my mom in Silver Springs. The pick up at the airport is seamless, and DeeDee's Diner is very convenient for the return trip. The staff have always been courteous, friendly and efficient. My last trip in, my flight arrived (0945) several hours before my shuttle was scheduled to leave (1200). I received a phone call from Aaron around 1015, who told me we were able to leave earlier than scheduled, which thrilled me to no end. Aaron went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, and was very knowledgeable about the area. He made the ride even more enjoyable. Normally would drive to Orlando International but at the advice of clients, I decided to take Shuttleliner. Great decision! The girl taking my reservation was so nice and we chatted about how beautiful it would be in New England this time of year. My driver was Joe and he was great! Called the night before to make sure I was all set for my pick up at Hilton (who, by the way was very friendly too!). He showed up at exactly my p/u time. It was very early, so we stopped for coffee and he told us about projects going on in Ocala. Not a chatty charlie who never stopped talking, but good conversation. Shuttleliner of Ocala is an amazing choice if you want cost effective, carefree transportation to Orlando/MCO. With today's gas prices, wear on your vehicle, toll fee, and long/short term parking cost, how can you go wrong?​ Driver Jeff was on time, professional, and friendly. He picked us up and delivered us to our respective airlines in a little over an hour and a half on the quickest route. Additionally, they stick by their customers. I was unable to utilize my round-trip back in Oct due to circumstances outside my control, and SoO provided me a voucher good for 1 year. As a result, I was able to use it 5 months later with no problems. It seems more and more businesses are cutting back on such important items, but not SoO...and for this I am grateful. read more
