I used Pronto Limo for my wedding in January of 2017. Although it was not a pleasant experience, I suppose it could have been worse. First the positives; I contacted them early and communication through the process was good, they had the vehicle we were looking for (classic car, "The Princess") and the price was acceptable. The car was beautiful and clean and they arrived on time for the pickup. Now the negatives; first off, exactly two days before our wedding they contacted me to notify that the vehicle was in the shop and may possibly not be available for our wedding. I realize it is an old vehicle and they cannot necessarily control its reliability but needless to say this was very stressful and frustrating to deal with right before the wedding. Pronto's resolution to this was to offer us a stretch limo "for no additional charge." If I wanted a stretch limo I would have reserved that to begin with and what's more, I feel like it should go without saying that this would be at no additional charge since this is not what we paid for to begin with. Fortunately the next day they called to notify me that the car was fixed and "should" be good to go. The car ended up overheating once on the day of our wedding and almost wouldn't start. At this point they asked me if the tip should be added to the credit card I had given to them or if it would be paid in cash. I informed them that the tip would be in cash to which they instructed me "to make sure its at least 15%." I found this to be extremely inappropriate, a tip is NOT mandatory. If they rely on tips for their business then perhaps they should increase their prices but they should not require a tip of at least 15%. Tip is based off of the quality of services given and is at the customers discretion. For the record I typically tip at least average even if the service is bad and I did tip the driver despite my final complaint which I will write about next. The final complaint I have, and perhaps the biggest, was that the driver shorted us for almost one hour of what we had paid for. Our agreement was for 3 hours for a one way trip with pickup at 3pm. Because we had the vehicle for three hours it we coordinated to have it stay at the drop off location so we could use it for photos after our ceremony. At 5pm the driver began pushing us to hurry and informing us that he had to leave and that the last hour we had paid for was designated for travel time back to their office. This was not what we had agreed and paid for. It caused us to rush through certain photos in order to try to utilize the vehicle before the driver left. Before writing this review I contacted Pronto Limo to try to resolve this matter but they were unwilling to work with me. Because of that we are unsatisfied with how Pronto Limo does business and I would not recommend them. read more
