Called office and walked me through the entire process only to get the same "card declined" result. I know both cards are good. They offered to book it by phone but wanted to charge $5 more. Asked why I should pay that when the problem is clearly on their side. Response was that I was going to have to decide if it was worth it. I told them I have a solution; I'm going to take an Uber. It's not the $5, it's the way they tried to make their problem mine. I'm happily going to spend more on an Uber to be able to sleep an extra hour and not deal with bad customer service. This is not the first time something similar happened. Previously, their system didn't recognize my home address so the only way to schedule door to door service was to call them and they charged me the same additional $5 for a phone reservation. Another example of their system shortcoming somehow being the customers problem. My previous experiences with them in terms of on time departures and driver professionalism had all been positive. Their back office staff and process leaves a lot to be desired. Despite their closest depot being just 5 minutes from my home, I'm done with them.

About 8 hours later he sent me a text saying he did not have any availability on the date I requested. He had the day correct but not the month.
