We used you-planet as private transportation from our Disney resort to Clearwater beach for a day trip, and it was amazing! My husband and I previously took shared transportation for this same trip, and this private trip was far superior in every way! After I booked the trip, Andrew, the owner, contacted me to provide me details/photos of the van we would use and also asked me questions on what we were planning for our trip. He took the information and then as the week of our trip arrived he reached out frequently to discuss alternate options as Hurricane Eta had a very unpredictable path that week. Thankfully the hurricane had already passed the day our trip was planned, but it was peace of mind knowing we had options if the storm did end up impacting our plans. Day of trip, we got picked up at the time/location of our choice, which differs from the shared trip where you have to meet at a certain time/location, this saved us an Uber trip as well and gave us extra sleeping time (which was needed after a week at Disney!). The van was immaculately clean, large, and included a car seat, ipads, headphones, chargers, water. Once we arrived in Clearwater we got dropped off at the hub of Clearwater Beach, near Pier 60. Again, this was a location of our choice and we could have chosen any drop off but we planned a boat trip and lunch, so this was convenient. The van found parking right next to the beach and after lunch we were able to utilize the beach gear Andrew has available in the van. This extra offering really was the most helpful as it allowed us to not have to carry a big ole beach bag, or have to rent a chair/umbrella or buy any other beach necessities. He had a wagon, towels, sand castle building kit, water, sunscreen, boogie boards, you name it! At the end of the day we dropped off the beach equipment to the van, and then enjoyed Pier 60 nightly vendors and kids play area before sitting down to catch the sunset. If you have never seen a Gulf side sunset, this is a must do! As a final icing on the cake, Andrew had sparkling juice and chocolates for my husband and I anniversary. With all rental cars already reserved at the Orlando Airport a week ahead of our planned 17 April arrival in Ocala, I had to quickly secure some form of transportation as I had to pack out my elderly mother-in-law's house in On Top of the World (OTOW). I found You-Planet on Yelp with one five-star review (thanks Cathy L!). Andrew, the owner, is a top notch communicator who kept me informed of who was coming to pick us up, where and when we could find our driver George. Sure enough, George was waiting for us in the right location, greeted us with a warm smile, assisted us into the spotless van, and then secured our luggage in the back. Andrew monitored traffic along the main route and directed George to by-pass a traffic build-up caused by an accident. Along the way we chatted with George and learned a bit more about Brazil, his country of origin. We arrived safely in OTOW where upon our arrival George carried our luggage into the house, then helped us pick up groceries and moving boxes from the nearby Publix. Andrew had also promised to have a car and driver at the ready if we needed to run any errands or go out for meals (sweet!), and even offered to bring us take-out food (wow!). We were so impressed by the You-Planet team that I called Andrew to ask if he could recommend someone to help me with stowing furniture and moving boxes into a small moving POD a few days later. Andrew assured that George and William would be available, and sure enough, by the time we had the boxes almost packed, the friendly team showed up and worked with care and energy to secure our shipment into the POD. Later that afternoon William showed up to drive us back to Orlando, and after four days of non-stop packing, I was actually happy to settle into the back seat and sleep almost all the way back to Orlando. At the end of the day it was a blessing in disguise that there were no rental cars available because I was able to discover a great company, You-Planet and not have to worry about driving. I can wholeheartedly recommend You-Planet as one of those rare outfits with white glove service and consistent integrity, all at an affordable price. I highly recommend this service ! We had a perfect experience with Andrew . From the initial contact when booking to the rides to and from the airport! His communication was great , he answered all of my questions by text so we were confident with his service. We have used You-Planet for two trips so far from Orlando MCO to Ocala Florida .He was on time/early for every ride. He will forward you a link to see exactly where he is too,so you know for sure. His van is immaculate. He had a variety of snacks and waters for us in the van and made us feel extremely comfortable. He is a great conversationalist and a very interesting guy but also if you prefer to not talk he has iPads for you to use ! He has WiFi in the van , it's a big van , you can stand up in it. He know a lot about Florida and is ready to share his knowledge on things to do , restaurants etc. he offered several times to stop if we needed anything at all, restrooms, food, to pick up items upon arrival. He will come inside the airport to help with your luggage if you would like that. We travel light so we met him outside and he picked us up quickly and we were on our way. We have a second home in Ocala and fly down at least once a month , we will be using this excellent service many more times ! Andrew caters to families especially, and we are bringing our family with kids and grandchildren soon , we have booked our travel with Andrew already. He provides car seats for no extra charge for the 4 grandchildren too! What a relief to not have to worry about that ! We will have 10 passengers , his van holds 11 max. It's a nice riding van in excellent condition. It is white and easy to spot. He is also a nurse and paramedic and follows all covid prevention protocols. He wore a mask and had sanitizer available at all times. I felt totally comfortable and safe. He is an excellent driver. Andrew and his staff driver William provided exceptional customer service. I called and spoke directly with Andrew and he was very professional and helpful with my needs of transportation by answering all my questions and providing me with full details of how the company operated, who would be my driver, what he would be driving, the license plate number and details of where driver would be located at the airport. He then followed my flight and text me before boarding confirming pick up. William then text me as I landed to let me know he was waiting. I flew into Orlando late, therefore I was tired. William was waiting with cold, bottled water for me, allowing me to sit wherever I wanted and was able to stretch out after a long day and just relax while he drove me to my destination approximately 2 hrs away. I was able to enjoy the comfortable and pristine Mercedes Sprint Van (with I-pad ready to use if needed). William is a good conversationalist and very professional and will make sure you are well taken care of. I am so happy to have found this company, I travel frequently and will always use them for shuttle to and from airport. We went on a family cruise and had the pleasure of using You-Planet shuttle service. William, was our driver. He was on time and very attentive to all of our needs! Used this company last week to and from MCO to Ocala, then back to MCO after visiting family for the holidays. The price was fair and van was brand new.
