I ended up staying another night in the hospital because I had no way home. (I was taken there by EMT and my family is not local). I called all over the place the day after Christmas (12/26/20). At 10 am, I got in contact with one taxi service but they said they wouldn't have anyone available until 12:30 PM. They said they'd call me back in a little bit to confirm. They never called back. I found Excalibur Taxi Service in a Google search around 10:45 AM. It had no reviews. I was very skeptical. I didn't want to end up in some skeevy car with some sketchy driver. When I called, it sounded like a teenager answered the phone. This didn't help me feel better. He was polite and took my information and answered my questions, but he sounded so *young*. I still made an arrangement for a pickup because no one other taxi services were answering. I was supposed to be picked up at 12:30 PM. They said they'd call me when the driver was near. I ended up calling them at 12:15pm to make sure they were still coming. (I was so afraid that they wouldn't show up because it was hard even finding someone to pick me up.) The same person answered the phone and assured me that they were. The driver (female) arrived on time. Turns out that it *was* a young adult answering the phone. It was her son. Lol. In the taxi ride (a cute Kia Soul with her company logo on front) she explained that they are a small company owned by her and her husband. They sounded relatively new. Her son works for them. I will use them again. She was on time. She charged a reasonable rate to take me from Ocala to Dunnellon. The vehicle was clean and didn't small like smoke. I gave her a $20 tip for being prompt and professional. Give them a try. Support a small business. Also, don't freak out if the person who answers the phone sounds young. He is, but he will make sure your ride is arranged.

We got to taste a sampling of food at each location. Belinda was a great guide - very knowledgeable. She knew the area gave us some insight into some of the historical buildings. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the walk was very enjoyable. As a newcomer to Ocala it was nice to see the variety of restaurants that are here and will definitely be back to enjoy lunch and dinner. Would recommend to anyone who is a foodie.

I want to start off by saying we did not stay here but wanted to check it out for future options after seeing it advertised in several RV publications, after speaking with the staff at the registration center and given permission to explore the property I think I have a clear understanding of this beautiful RV Park. Let's start at the RV Check-in and Registration Center which is located inside the beautiful and spacious general store - the entire staff here was very friendly and accommodating and the general store is very clean and has a little bit of everything including ready to eat meals and a nice selection of wines. In the same building with separate entrances are spacious restrooms complete with showers and dressing areas that are all immaculate and modern - next is a beautiful laundromat that is amazing and spacious and a golf cart rental center. Once you've checked in there are wide paved streets lined with level back-in concrete pads all with full hookups and beautiful landscaping across the property. Now for something I've never seen at a RV Park - a gasoline and diesel fueling station with multiple pumps and all under a tall canopy, it's self-service so only pay at the pump. I actually filled my F-150 for $3.20 a gallon for regular which is only a few pennies more than the stations in the area and a great and rare amenity. I think this is a beautiful RV Park although it's a destination and what I mean by that is if you're here for a horse event or a overnight stay this is perfect but as far as atmosphere it kinda boring with little to no shade but was clearly designed to accommodate those here for events at the World Equestrian Center and not a vacation resort by any means and likely the reason it mostly empty when there aren't any events scheduled. I'm am really glad I came here to check out this beautiful property but it's probably not a place I'd stay since I don't have much interest in equestrian events - if you're attending events here it's a five star venue, for me because it's so tied into everything equestrian and I'd probably only do an over stay overnight while driving to my final destination I'll give it 4 stars...

The park has a pool and hot tub, Both managers were awesome and very welcoming, The road leading to…read morethe park is short but rough, the managers fix them but the next rain tears it up again, They are doing upgrades, they keep the services running and respond to maintenance issue immediately. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, but some campers are not very sanitary when using the facilities, but the bathroom is clean the following day. They have laundry facilities that are a welcome sight, The sites are roomy and well maintained, The electric has been upgraded recently, This is the only RV park that allowed me to stay with three miniature dogs, Most parks allow 2 dogs only less than 60 lbs. They have a lot of permanent campers, they are nice campers. The managers keep a good handle on things and are on top of any issues. I would stay here again.
