Located in an industrial center north of the Walmart store on Newhall Ranch Road, they're in a row of businesses in a small store. Anita was very nice and helpful and pointed out all of our options. It's not that much more than going to one of the two hardware box stores, and you can get exactly what you want. Bryan came out and measured and gave us recommendations on how many shutters per window, the direction they open, etc. We ordered them and they came exactly when they said they would... approximately 6 weeks. Manuel came out by himself in their van and installed them in about 3 hours. He was very nice and cleaned up after himself. After he left, my wife and neighbor spotted some manufacturer flaws in the shutters. Not major, but if you look on a lot of the shutters, the manufacturer touched up the wood flaws with putty and painted over them....but they're noticeable. I told my wife that after a month, we won't notice them again. No, we're not going to have them replaced...it's not worth it. Oh, and we noticed that Manuel got some caulking on other parts of the window frame, which we'll have to sand down and repaint. Would I use them again? Yes!! read more

The quote seemed fair (to be honest, we didn't do a lot...or really any...shopping around). We paid a 50% deposit and waited. They called a few weeks later (earlier than estimated) to say the shutters were ready. They were very flexible with install dates as my husband and I had to do a bit of juggling to find a free morning. They arrived on time, installed beautiful shutters on our two sliding doors and were done within 2 hours. I think its a small family owned business that's been in the SCV for many years. Shutter World is fantastic! I recently purchased a home in the Test del Valle neighborhood. There were plantation shutters throughout the house. Many of the shutters were chipped and broken and many were not attached to the central rod. Two rods were broken. I called other places to get a quote but couldn't find any place that fixes shutters. I saw a posting on Nextdoor praising Shutter World. After e-mailing with Anita, sending pictures of what needed to be done, Robert came out to to my house. He removed a few blinds for templates and measured the rods. Anita emailed me a quote which I signed and returned. Shortly after, Robert returned. He replaced some shutters, replaced two rods, and inspected each shutter, attaching some to the rod if needed. The new shutters match the existing shutters. You can't tell the difference. He also left a vial of touch up paint. The shutters look like new! Everything works now. The price was beyond reasonable. I am telling my friends who recently purchased a newly constructed house to contact Shutter World. They provide quality products and great customer service at amazing prices. Bryan, the owner, was personable, friendly and knowledgeable.
