Space Coast Storm Shutters installed Bertha Accordion Shutters on all openings to include our doors and two Bay Windows. Their workmanship is exceptional especially on our two bay windows and they patiently went over the operation and periodic preventative maintenance of the shutters. Before selecting a contractor we got three bids and did a due diligence check on them all. Space Coast Storm Shutters passed with flying colors and are licensed and insured. We also visited three past jobs they completed and found all to be done in an excellent manner. In addition, their pricing is very competitive with the others. Finally, we just had a wind mitigation completed and received full credit which should lower our insurance premium quite a bit. Bottom line: We couldn't be more please with their excellent work and two of our neighbors seeing the job they did hired them to do their homes as well.

I was in dire need of new windows and sliding glass door for my new oceanside condo, Indialantic,…read moreFL. I had gotten estimates from a few other businesses, then called A Better View. Matt, the owner's son, came out after doing an estimate for another home in the community. He took the necessary measurements and noted the product type, style and colors desired. About a week later Matt came by with the estimate which was the best price out of all the other estimates, so I told him they got the job. The HOA out here is tough as you can imagine. They hold businesses to strict standards they must abide by to get approval for any work done. A Better View submitted the necessary paperwork back to the association, and pulled permits for the work. Once the materials arrived at their shop, Jim, the owner called to set up an install date. On the day off, they showed up at sunrise. Owner Jim was also onsite to supervise and help with the install. These windows, and especially the sliding glass doors, are heavy. But they got them upstairs and began removing the old windows. They worked quickly and with good attitude. Jim kept on eye on progress and insured everything was done correctly. I was surprised that after only about 3 hours, the installation was complete. All old windows and materials were hauled away. Jim provided me with the permit and code paperwork and number to call to have the job inspected. I had the work inspected and it passed and was signed off on with no problem. I'm super happy with these new windows and slider. They are tough and virtually eliminate all outside sound and have a huge increase in thermal protection. Huge peace of mind. I would have presented them with five stars, but they did drop a tool that took a chip out of my wood floor, and a few of the windows I can't get to lock. I haven't called them about it until I see if I can adjust them myself. I recommend them and hope you will have the same positive experience.

Jehmal from Oceanside screen came out and took down some soffit to see what was going on. He believed water was getting in from improper or old seals around the lag bolts, water overflowing the gutters on the backside or something that happened when the roof was replaced. Sure enough the sub-fascia was rotted at every place where the pool cage attached. The project involved coordination with my chosen roofer as they each had multiple steps to do. Oceanside screen removed pool cage from gutters, removed gutters and supported the cage while roofers replaced wood, fascia and soffit. Oceanside modified my pool cage to fit 7" gutters that we believed were needed to replace the old 5" and hold the large amount of water coming from my roof. They also put in a larger downspout, made sure everything was sealed and re-screened part of my enclosure after re-attaching everything and roofers doing the drip edge. Jehmal is very knowledgeable and gives you options. Communication throughout the project was excellent. We were out of town and Jehmal sent many, many pics so we could see what was happening. He set up everything with the roofer and ran the project. I would definitely recommend Oceanside Screen for any of your pool enclosure or super gutter needs.

The kitchen was phase 1 of a whole house remodel and now we will need to find another company for phase 2. I will start by listing their good points: 1. The Kemp cabinets they sell are quality products. 2. The countertop installer is outstanding. Listing the negatives: 1. We were expecting J&J to be experts and to guide us with the design of the kitchen. They do that to a minimal level, knowing their products, but they do not provide recommendations that an expert would provide on how a kitchen should be laid out for good cooking flow with features that we may desire. 2. J&J will not go out of their way to satisfy the customer without additional costs no matter how small the change is, even if it is a modification they recommend. 3. Their cabinet installer does not adapt to unexpected changes discovered during installation and will walk off the job leaving it unfinished. They will reschedule at their convenience, which in my case I had to wait almost two months, to install trim that they left uninstalled. 4. When things do not go smoothly, they make you feel like you are the cause, forgetting that you are the customer, in other words, bad service.
