Matt, the owner's son, came out after doing an estimate for another home in the community. He took the necessary measurements and noted the product type, style and colors desired. About a week later Matt came by with the estimate which was the best price out of all the other estimates, so I told him they got the job. The HOA out here is tough as you can imagine. They hold businesses to strict standards they must abide by to get approval for any work done. A Better View submitted the necessary paperwork back to the association, and pulled permits for the work. Once the materials arrived at their shop, Jim, the owner called to set up an install date. On the day off, they showed up at sunrise. Owner Jim was also onsite to supervise and help with the install. These windows, and especially the sliding glass doors, are heavy. But they got them upstairs and began removing the old windows. They worked quickly and with good attitude. Jim kept on eye on progress and insured everything was done correctly. I was surprised that after only about 3 hours, the installation was complete. All old windows and materials were hauled away. Jim provided me with the permit and code paperwork and number to call to have the job inspected. I had the work inspected and it passed and was signed off on with no problem. I'm super happy with these new windows and slider. They are tough and virtually eliminate all outside sound and have a huge increase in thermal protection. Huge peace of mind. I would have presented them with five stars, but they did drop a tool that took a chip out of my wood floor, and a few of the windows I can't get to lock. I haven't called them about it until I see if I can adjust them myself. I recommend them and hope you will have the same positive experience.

I was told that I would be getting solid…read morewood cabinets, I only got 1 wood cabinet in my guest bathroom which came in after the rest of the cabinets. My cabinets are a white shaker. It was installed in February 2017. They are not wood and a lot of the doors are warped. One of the cabinet door warped a few months after they were installed, they were supposed to order us a new one.....never saw them again. They are cheap trailer cabinets. When they were here about the warped door a few months after installed and there were chips on the master bath vanity (which are the same as kitchen) I was told that it was wear and tear, really after not even a year and it is only me and my husband, what wear a tear! The doors are so cheap that they make a hallow sound when they close. Handles were put on too tight and the door cracked where the screws are. I paid extra for the 25 year warranty for the sealer on the granite countertops. There are rough spots and when I clean it the cloth gets stuck on them. There are also looks like drip marks. Wish I could enjoy them but when ever I am in the kitchen and I have to pick up the rubber bumpers off the floor and the doors close with that hollow cheap sound all I do literally is cry. If all my cabinets were like the guest bathroom which ( which is actually what I was told I was getting) I would have given 5 stars, but they're not the same. So with what I received, and what I was told I was getting,I was only able to give Eastern Kitchen and Bath 1 star.

I expected some level of a mess from removing and replacing two sliding glass doors. There was none. They cleaned up everything. They also took the huge many of recycled boxes from my unpacking in case the company didn't take it, which happened the week prior. Insulation was scheduled for two days because you never know what they're going to come across. They finished in half a day. The difference is amazing. Titus went through the doors with me and explained everything. I asked him if I needed a bar to go in the gap for safety. He didn't even laugh and showed me that new doors have an up-and-down lock that create a claw. good to know. It was the best service I've ever had with home repair or replacements.

They explained that they…read moreare working through some issues with their new hurricane door distributor and assigned their operations manager, Patricia, to ensure all my concerns were addressed. My door has been repaired, and they are compensating me for the inconvenience, which I greatly appreciate. I should also note that my mother purchased hurricane-rated impact French doors for her patio at the same time I ordered my front door from Sunset View. They did an excellent job with that installation. I would likely use Sunset View again in the future.
