I have never written a negative review for a company, but I'm sharing this in hopes that no one else has to go through what our family experienced. We have a toddler who unfortunately shattered the glass in our back sliding door. We called Adam's Glass and were initially impressed by the price and how quickly they could come out. They arrived the next day, explained the glass would need to be ordered and could take up to a week--setbacks we completely understood. The real issues began after installation. We noticed the glass color didn't match the rest of our home (not their fault, but we did request it be corrected). More concerning were the installation errors: the black seal around the glass was damaged and missing in areas, the metal door frame was bent in multiple spots, and most alarming, the door was unstable and moved back and forth. The owner said he would return within a few days, but continuously pushed the date back. Eventually, he called midday insisting he come immediately or delay another three days. As a teacher, I can't leave work without notice. When I explained this, he thought he had hung up and I heard him say, "Well, that was a waste of fucking time." I still managed to get home within the hour. He fixed the previous issues, but then our screen door would no longer close properly. He left within minutes. I called him immediately to address it, and he said he could come back in three days. When I asked--begged--that he come back the same day so this wouldn't continue dragging on, he hung up on me. Since then, he has ignored all calls and texts. We are now having to hire someone else to fix the remaining issues. It's incredibly disheartening to be treated this way by a business, especially after being patient and understanding throughout the process. read more

Went to business; requested a screen; he said to measure; I asked him to come to my house and he said screens are standard. The screen was 1 inch short. After many phone calls, he finally came to my house. He said there is no refund. I highly recommend NOT doing business with Adam's glass/screen. Very poor customer service!!!!! read more

Stay away from this business!! Just found out he is changing the name to A1A Glass and Mirror. My patio glass table top shattered during one of the storms this year. I brought the ring or rim that the glass sat in to the store in order to get a correct measurement, and left the rim there thinking the glass, when ordered, would be put inside the ring. The owner was nice and said there would be no problems he knew exactly what I needed so I was expecting no problems. Six weeks go by and I never heard from the owner. I finally called to find out what was the delay, and he said it hadn't been ordered because the order "fell through the cracks". I was fine with that as I wasn't in a hurry and I understand how people can get busy sometimes. I expected to hear from him within the next 2 weeks, but I heard nothing. I gave it another 2 weeks, and again, nothing. At this point I figured he wasn't going to order it, so I just wanted to get my ring back. I went by the store 3 times and the store was closed, but I could see through the store front window, the ring sitting there. I went back my on my fourth trip to get the ring, and of course, the store was closed, and the ring was GONE!! I called him immediately and left a message that I wanted my ring back. He texted back and said he didn't have it anymore !!!! And had no explanation! I was livid. First, this guy doesn't order my glass and never calls me to say he never ordered my glass, keeping me waiting and waiting. Then, he disposes of my personal property!!!! HE COULDN'T MAKE A CALL TO SAY COME GET YOUR RING!! He just got rid of it. I finally went back to the store to see what could be done about this situation, and he was actually there, and was in no way apologetic. He acted like that's the way things normally happen. I asked for compensation, and he said bring in proof of the cost to replace the ring. Well, no one sells just the ring for the tables, you have to buy the whole table. He knew that and I knew that! Read the Google reviews. This guy is just nuts. I've never had anyone dispose of personal property before without at least making a phone call to pick up the item. This company are a bunch of con artists. We hired them to service 3 sliding glass doors. I was taken aback when I got the invoice. They way over charged for the parts. Not knowing any better I paid them. After returning to the property to check their work, they charged us for a lockset they never installed. I followed back up and they kept saying they would be there the next day but never showed up. Now they won't even return texts or answer phone calls. Bill is a thief. read more

This company came recommended by my window installer. We had them service the sliders to our balcony, and paid nearly $2000 to make them work properly again. One of the locks is still not latching. Have been trying to get back in touch with them for weeks to schedule a follow up appointment, but keep getting ghosted. I don't recommend this business. read more

i ordered a glass table top that was supposed to take 10-14 days. It ended up taking six weeks. After 3 weeks of no news, I started calling, texting, and finally went to the store, planning to cancel the order. I arrived to find the "open" sign on, the door unlocked and no one there. I called the owner, Bill, who didn't realize he hadn't locked the door. I stayed there and waited outside because it didn't seem right to leave. When he arrived I asked him, based on the amount of time this order was taking and me notifying him of his unlocked business, for a cash discount on delivery. I asked if I could pay$800 in cash instead of the agreed upon $1000, and he said yes. When he delivered the glass I handed him an envelope with $800. I told him it was $800 and he should count it. He said he didn't need to. He left without giving me a receipt and then called me to tell me I owed him $200. He had no memory of our discussion about the discount. If he hadn't agreed to the discount I would have canceled the order because it was taking so long. I was upset that i was stupid enough to believe him about the cash discount, but told him I was coming to his store with a $200 check. He knew I was on my way but the door was locked. He texted me to leave the check in the door, which I did not do because I wanted a receipt. I had to return two more times to finally pay him and get a receipt. So, if you choose to do business with this place don't trust what Bill tells you. Make sure you get everything in writing, including the delivery date and time as well as price discounts for late delivery. My order took more than twice as long as promised, and he "forgot" our entire conversation about a discount. I should have known what level of competency I was dealing with when I found his empty store unlocked. read more
