We have a toddler who unfortunately shattered the glass in our back sliding door. We called Adam's Glass and were initially impressed by the price and how quickly they could come out. They arrived the next day, explained the glass would need to be ordered and could take up to a week--setbacks we completely understood. The real issues began after installation. We noticed the glass color didn't match the rest of our home (not their fault, but we did request it be corrected). More concerning were the installation errors: the black seal around the glass was damaged and missing in areas, the metal door frame was bent in multiple spots, and most alarming, the door was unstable and moved back and forth. The owner said he would return within a few days, but continuously pushed the date back. Eventually, he called midday insisting he come immediately or delay another three days. As a teacher, I can't leave work without notice. When I explained this, he thought he had hung up and I heard him say, "Well, that was a waste of fucking time." I still managed to get home within the hour. He fixed the previous issues, but then our screen door would no longer close properly. He left within minutes. I called him immediately to address it, and he said he could come back in three days. When I asked--begged--that he come back the same day so this wouldn't continue dragging on, he hung up on me. Since then, he has ignored all calls and texts. We are now having to hire someone else to fix the remaining issues. It's incredibly disheartening to be treated this way by a business, especially after being patient and understanding throughout the process.
