I used Beach Screen on multiple jobs and their work was satisfactory, until it wasn't. He recently installed new screening on a newly painted pool cage, and within 30 days it was coming apart in a few spots. He was in no hurry to repair and when he came to look at the job he wanted to charge a very high price to fix, blaming the damage on other factors. I've received lower bids from vendors I've never used. Don simply told me to look elsewhere to get the repairs done. You find out more about businesses when things aren't 100% than you do when everything is A ok!! There are other issues here as well, but won't get into them at this time!!!

I contacted Yor-Ash in Aug. to give me an estimate on two custome counter tops for my business, after meeting with Georgie and giving him ALL the information on how me and my 70 yr. old wife wanted our counter tops built he chose to build them the way he wanted to before contacting us first to make sure that was the (exact way that we discussed) ,so now i'm stuck with something that is not what i orderd and not finished.. in our shop, the counter tops are damanged , staind and dirty and not fully completed still !. all of this was from Aug. to Oct. We also spoke about doing a chair rail and bead board on the walls in our shop, however i did manage to get that money back after two weeks of calling him and contacting his wife, he still has not made any apologies for the workmanship of the desks and fefuses to refund our $ 750.00 for the installtion of the bead board he never installed. So far, AMVet has taken the initiative to reach out and reset expectations. That counts for a lot in my book. This letter should explain everything. I sent this email almost a week ago and did not receive a response. I'm not thrilled that I paid $5,334.00 and have a drive way with an ugly patch. THE LETTER Dear AMVet, I am extremely disappointed with your driveway coating service. The finish on my driveway does not resemble any of the coated driveways I personally inspected at your previous customers' homes. The coating was applied on June 11, 2025. When it didn't look right initially, you returned and reapplied another coat in a few areas. Then, on January 21, 2026, you came back to repair a fine crack, but the repair left a visible patch across my driveway. Now, just a few months later in April, another fine line is already appearing in another area. I am not requesting another repair, as my driveway is beginning to look like a patchwork quilt. I was told the first repair was free, but any future repairs would cost $170 each. This is not right. It hasn't even been a full year since the original application, and these issues should not be occurring. You should have known that my driveway would not hold up well to your coating. I can only assume you were aware of this and chose to proceed anyway. I would appreciate a serious response to this matter.

The owner, Dave, offered to paint the concrete and ultimately took the cost of materials off the total when we opted to do an epoxy floor with another company. When there was a drainage problem, they came right back out and added a second downspout and water diverter on the roof. With each interaction, everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. We appreciated their willingness to discuss concerns and address in a timely manner. We love our new room with the "no see it" screen! I definitely recommend them if you're looking to hire a hometown company to construct your screen room!
