UPDATE: I received a call today from AMVet Concrete Coating. They've scheduled our driveway redo for July 20. As a former business owner myself, I fully understand that things can sometimes go off the rails--unexpected delays, miscommunications, or scheduling conflicts happen. What truly separates a good business from a great one isn't whether problems arise, but how they respond when things don't go as planned. So far, AMVet has taken the initiative to reach out and reset expectations. That counts for a lot in my book. This letter should explain everything. I sent this email almost a week ago and did not receive a response. I'm not thrilled that I paid $5,334.00 and have a drive way with an ugly patch. THE LETTER Dear AMVet, I am extremely disappointed with your driveway coating service. The finish on my driveway does not resemble any of the coated driveways I personally inspected at your previous customers' homes. The coating was applied on June 11, 2025. When it didn't look right initially, you returned and reapplied another coat in a few areas. Then, on January 21, 2026, you came back to repair a fine crack, but the repair left a visible patch across my driveway. Now, just a few months later in April, another fine line is already appearing in another area. I am not requesting another repair, as my driveway is beginning to look like a patchwork quilt. I was told the first repair was free, but any future repairs would cost $170 each. This is not right. It hasn't even been a full year since the original application, and these issues should not be occurring. You should have known that my driveway would not hold up well to your coating. I can only assume you were aware of this and chose to proceed anyway. I would appreciate a serious response to this matter. read more

Mitch came out to give my folks an estimate on resurfacing their giant driveway. He was great - incredibly nice, informative, and spent a lot of time with us explaining our options and the cost involved. While we ultimately decided not to have the work done (it is likely they will not be in the house more than a couple years), it was clear that their products are high quality and the guarantee would provide peace of mind. Had them apply coating to a 40+ year old concrete patio and front walkway 4 years ago. Came with a guarantee which was important especially since we have never used such a product before and wanted assurance that the investment was protected. A few years later we noticed areas on the back patio appeared to have lifted off as if it was sandblasted and had areas of staining that couldn't be cleaned with a water hose or Simply Green @ diluted then hosed down afterwards on the patio . The patio has always very gently used by our family so we knew it wasn't our fault. The front walkway remained pristine so it was unexpected on the back of the house except the patio was exposed to more sun. Contacted company to come out and Bryan responded immediately and came over to carefully examine all the issues. We learned that the coating company which supplies AmVet with their patented coating had only tested it where they are located in a cold climate out of state. That's why it didn't stand up to constant Florida sun. They were having issues all over the area here. So AmVet came out 2 months ago, re-sanded and applied it as if it had never been done before. Took 2 people about 6 hours They stood by their warranty. Told us the formula was changed so we don't anticipate any further issues. We let new coating set without stepping on for a few days and a month later put outdoor furniture on it. Will update if any further issues arise. read more

Customer beware if unexpected things happen!!! I will start off to say they were great and fast to respond to my inquiries about a getting a garage resurfaced for a house I was currently in the process of buying. They took my payment very fast and were accommodating when I was out of the country for work to waive the credit card processing fee. Then the problems started happening. The house I was buying did not end up appraising and I ended up backing out of the housing deal. This is when problems started. I asked the sales rep about how I was suppose to be refunded (Feb 5th). He checked with the sales manager and said I would be refunded to my credit card (debit) in 3-4 days minus the credit card processing fee (which I understood since they waived that since I was overseas for work). A week passes and nothing. I contact the sales rep again and he checks again (Feb 12th) and was told he contacted the office immediately and would give me another number if the refund doesn't come through again. I wait another 5 days and inquire about the refund again (Feb 17th). It was a weekend and I didn't get a response (sort of expected that), so figured I would try my luck on their website messaging contact. Again I get a quick response, tells me they mailed a check on Feb 7th to the house I was buying and not my billing address. Told me they were going to cancel that check and send me another one. February 23rd I get a check in the mail with a refund minus -10%. That seems like a pretty substantial credit card processing fee for a single transaction, so I follow up to inquire about that and get a totally different response about a short cancellation ( which I could have understood if that what was originally communicated) and that if I do business with them in the future, they will have a 10% discount. That seems good, but the constant changes about the refund make me believe that would not be honored either. They were fast to respond, fast to take my money, slow to return payment and changed story multiple time to withhold more money than was originally told. If your ever thinking about getting and work done by this company, I would think twice my three times. If you think in not telling the truth come to countrywalk neighborhood in Suntree and take a look at my neighbors driveway, I've had to have mine completely redone with pavers less than a year after AmVet did my driveway, but my neighbors driveway looks terrible. This company was highly recommended by many of our neighbors, so we called. Aaron came right out and gave us an estimate for our garage floor and showed us a lot of samples. We were under a tight deadline before the movers arrived, so Aaron worked us into their schedule. The crew arrived on time and made our garage floor beautiful. Aaron came by that evening and found several places that still needed work. The next day his best crew, Nick and Nick, came out and did the touchups. When the floor had cured and was ready to be walked on, Aaron came out agaIn to check that the finished product met our expectations. We contracted them for our garage floor and were completely impressed! They were very customer oriented and more importantly, their quality of work was IMPECCIBLE. Once we poured our new driveway, we had coloration issues and final finish issues, and were were NOT happy (a totally different company). The FIRST thing we did was call AmVet.
