One company stood out Royal Shades and Blinds not just because Laurence is a fellow Brit (albeit a Southern Brit!!) but we wont hold that against him...much, ahem. Not only did he spend time measuring our windows with attention to detail, he then sat down with the wife (no hubby input here, I get it wrong I'm dead!!) and went through the colour options and recommending the best shades for each room some weird colour names but he got it bang on so no moaning. As stated we also had the big companies in and when the quotes came in I almost died, how much !! I was having blinds installed not gold thread or so I tought. Them Royals quote came in ..nearly 33% less than the others I still had tears in my eyes but it was a hell of a lot better than any other quote we had. Deposit paid stiff whisky swallowed and a wait of 3 weeks to install. Royal installed my blinds in less than day and they look incredible even the coconut (yes coconut) shades in the bedroom were a perfect match for the beige ! walls. We have total privacy, the blackouts in the living room are perfect for my Home Cinema and the Patio Blinds look fantastic. I doubt you will find a better company on price, quality and service, give them a call today.

They worked around my pets' anxiousness in the next room, which is huge for me. They covered all of the belongings in the room next to the patio doors. I expected some level of a mess from removing and replacing two sliding glass doors. There was none. They cleaned up everything. They also took the huge many of recycled boxes from my unpacking in case the company didn't take it, which happened the week prior. Insulation was scheduled for two days because you never know what they're going to come across. They finished in half a day. The difference is amazing. Titus went through the doors with me and explained everything. I asked him if I needed a bar to go in the gap for safety. He didn't even laugh and showed me that new doors have an up-and-down lock that create a claw. good to know. It was the best service I've ever had with home repair or replacements.

My door has been repaired, and they are compensating me for the inconvenience, which I greatly appreciate. They did an excellent job with that installation. I would likely use Sunset View again in the future.

We contracted Lafferty to enclose the entry area of our townhome with a custom screen door. The…read morefinished product initially looked great. Unfortunately, when we began having problems with the door not closing properly and our experience with Lafferty's customer service was extremely disappointing. Because we were outside the warranty period, we were required to pay a $75 service fee just to schedule an appointment. After several follow-up calls and waiting a couple of weeks, a technician finally came out. He installed a new plunger and left. Upon returning home we discovered the door was actually worse than it had been before the service visit. It now drags on our newly installed pavers and only closes about halfway. We have followed up with Lafferty multiple times and have provided photos and video clearly showing the problem. Despite this, more than a month later, they have still refused to send someone back to inspect the issue or correct the workmanship. Our experience has been very disappointing. While the initial installation looked good, the lack of follow-up and customer service has been unacceptable. When you hire a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and make a reasonable effort to resolve problems when they arise. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not use Lafferty again. We have also shared our experience with others in our development so they can make an informed decision before hiring them.

My super gutters were leaking around my pool deck and water had started coming out through the…read moresoffit in heavy rains. Jehmal from Oceanside screen came out and took down some soffit to see what was going on. He believed water was getting in from improper or old seals around the lag bolts, water overflowing the gutters on the backside or something that happened when the roof was replaced. Sure enough the sub-fascia was rotted at every place where the pool cage attached. The project involved coordination with my chosen roofer as they each had multiple steps to do. Oceanside screen removed pool cage from gutters, removed gutters and supported the cage while roofers replaced wood, fascia and soffit. Oceanside modified my pool cage to fit 7" gutters that we believed were needed to replace the old 5" and hold the large amount of water coming from my roof. They also put in a larger downspout, made sure everything was sealed and re-screened part of my enclosure after re-attaching everything and roofers doing the drip edge. Jehmal is very knowledgeable and gives you options. Communication throughout the project was excellent. We were out of town and Jehmal sent many, many pics so we could see what was happening. He set up everything with the roofer and ran the project. I would definitely recommend Oceanside Screen for any of your pool enclosure or super gutter needs.
