We've had our shutters since 2015. My only complaint is the plastic wheels used, but they have been good at fixing the problem and changing them. After talking with Kirsten, they are supporting existing customers for a reasonable price. We lost the plastic wheels on on our accordion shutters and they are supporting the fix. read more

We had our front windows, front door, and north side bathroom window done...we were told (at the time of ordering, 4-6 months wait, and they were installed within the 4th month mark... I don't understand the glowing reviews, particularly about the installers. One accordion shutter in a row of three was obviously crooked but the installer insisted that the siding on the house was crooked. Apparently just in front of that one window?? I may be old but I'm not ignorant! Also, the shutters were not sized properly for the windows which left large gaps on the sides. The two Bahama shutters could only be raised a few inches even though I had specifically asked the salesman and was told that they could be raised way up. After I contacted them to express my extreme displeasure with the whole job they did come out and remount the crooked shutter, cut down the oversized shutters, and installed longer arms on the Bahama shutters. But then the disgruntled workers left sharp curly metal drill shavings all over our stone patio area as well as greasy gunk on the sides of some shutters (finally got it off with Goo-Gone). Not to mention I now have many more holes from the removal, straightening, resizing and reinstalling. The shutters should have been made to the proper size to begin with and the installers should have been more conscientious. I would not use this company again. read more

She explained many things about installation and the different types of shutters and the individual panels and was so helpful in solving my problem. ASP did what they said they would. It took about 5 months but the shutters came in, from somewhere, and they installed them. They look great. When it came time to let my insurance company know I had shutters, they asked about building permits. I asked ASP and they said they hadn't had time to submit them. What??? It's been a month and still now building permit but the shutters are up. The install was good and the crews were very nice but the job still isn't finished. As far as the city is concerned, it should never have started. read more

I have no idea why the rating for this company is so low. This company by far is one of the best in Brevard County. We contacted the company and spoke with Kirsten for an estimate on hurricane shutters. We had an appointment within a week. There was no pressure from the salesman and we signed an agreement with the knowledge that it could take almost 5 months before the install could be completed. We were totally understanding of the wait, with the assurance that if it could be done sooner it would be. We were asked to put 1/3 down and that seemed fair to us. With the balance due on install. Kirsten contacted us less than 3 months later telling us they were ready to install the hardware and the panels would be within the month after that. The guys that came out to install the hardware were prompt and very professional. We ran into a problem with securing the hardware with our stucco, but they contacted their supervisor and they found a solution that we could both agree on. It worked out better than the original plan. In less than 3 weeks after that the panels were in and they called for an appointment to install. We could not be more pleased with the customer service, the install, and above all the product. Thank you Kirsten and your entire crew for making us happy we shopped local. read more

Mike who was working there told my over 70 father they would cut panels right before the hurricane. He could have said no or called back to say he was sorry so we could try to come up with an alternative plan. Instead he pretended my Dad never spoke to him. I was with him when he called. Atlantic came out in December to do measurements and a quote for accordion shutters. We found the price to be very reasonable & pretty much expected a wait for the installation. We were told April for the installation which is well before the hurricane season starts. We got a call on Thursday 3/19 to tell us the materials were in & asked if they could do the installation on the 21st. We were floored that we were getting this done a month ahead of time! They showed up at 9AM - exactly when promised - and they got to work. We were told the average install time is about 6 hours - they finished in just over half that time! Not only that, the guys who did the install were extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. Both went out of their way to answer all of our questions & then gave us a "tutorial" on how to operate / lock / secure the shutters. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Atlantic without hesitation!! Excellent job! read more

BE AWARE!!!! The owner Steve Smith does not abide by his word and will place a lien on your home and/or refuse to release the Notice of Commencement!!!! May 9, 2019 we put a deposit down and signed a contract that guaranteed a completion date by 6/30/19 or a full refund. They were very aware of that being the only reason we chose this company. They decided to take on more jobs and make more money when there was a hurricane coming instead of completing the job of a current customer mid-project as promised in the signed contract. It was not until October that the Owner reached out again and then asked for full payment- even with the job still not completed and shutters missing . When we asked for the refund per the contract, he said he would take all the equipment off of our freshly painted house, leaving the exterior with gaping holes and cracks from the incorrectly placed anchors and then give us our deposit back. We did not even receive all of the shutters and the ones we did do not fit correctly and they were supposed to fix before 6/30/19. He refuses to remove the Notice of Commencement on our home causing a lien. read more
