All Guard Storm Shutters just completed a fairly major Bertha HV perimeter accordion hurricane shutter installation on the front and rear balconies of my beachside condo. It was terrific from the buying experience and field measuring, all the way up to the multi-day installation! All Guard says what they'll do, and does what they say (somewhat rare these days). The Installational Department was very good at keeping me updated regarding the installation. I had a "cannot miss" hard deadline to get the shutters installed and they assured me it would be done - and sure encough it was! (I'm not gonna lie, at times I was skeptical, lol!) My install team, James and Adrian, were repectful, professional, careful and detail-orientated. It's hard for anybody to want or expect anything more. In short, they really did a great job! When the project was complete, they left my balcony clean and damage-free. In summary, I received a superior shutter system (Bertha HV), for less overall cost, a much better warranty, and a level of installation craftmanship that the other competing shutter company we investigated could provide - in fact, the competing company offered a lower quality product with half the warranty and was significantly more expensive than All Guard. I enjoyed a really positive experience with All Guard. I encourage you to give them serious consideration if you need new or replacement hurricane shutters. I bet you have a similar experiece. i called "all guard shutter service" on a thursday they took my information, they told me that they would call me back, failed. i called them and asked them if they could send someone here to repair my hurricane control. they said that they do not touch anything that is over 15 years old. i asked them, why did they make me wait 4 days to tell me that? they said, sorry. so, when you all are tired of hearing sorry, do not call this sorry "all guard storm shutter" company for anything. they want the big jobs only. no respect for the customer. read more

Poor Customer service!! Unreliable! Unprofessional!! They missed out on and 10 to 12 thousand dollar job!!! Appointment set on 6-7-17 with FRANK between 4 and 4:30 husband took off from work to be home to meet with sales guy. A NO SHOW!!! NO CALL!!! My husband HAD TO CALL All Guard Storm Shutters TO FIND OUT WHERE FRANK WAS!!! Told by Robin he was soaking wet and unavailable to talk. I then called back a few minutes later and I Spoke to Frank at 4:30pm and asked him where he was, "he said he has been in and out of rain all day and couldn't make it" and added "he can't control the weather!" (he said laughingly) I said "You can control your phone calls right?" He replied well "yes I guess I can"! I said "Yet, Frank you failed to call!!" I ordered several storm shutters for my home in both colonial and Bahamas. Matt worked with me on the color as I wanted a specific blue color. He was able to obtain all the blue hues available and the factory matched it. I was even more surprised that the shutters were glossy and power coated. They were a perfect fit for my house and now it even has more curb appeal. The installation was done in one day by two professional installers and done perfectly and with a thorough cleanup after. I had All Guard install Bahama Shutters on my house. They said it was going to take 14-16 weeks due to limited factories make the Bahama Shutters along with the factories and All Giard installers were busy. It did take 16 weeks, the installation was very good. The only disappointment is I had to call them every 4-5 weeks for an update vs them calling me. I recommend them. read more

As noted by others they are unable to keep appointments. Took day off to meet and they called at the end of the appointment time and said they couldn't make it. Plus they had changed salespeople from the one I wanted to another, the one that had stood me up twice before. No matter how hard I try to do business with them they screw it up. read more

My wife and I contracted with All Guard to place hurricane wind abatement roll down screens (2) on our Lani (back patio). The contract promised delivery in 10 to 12 weeks. At the 12 week mark, I called the company to get a status of my order. They advised me that the screens had just come in and that they could install them the next day. When the installation crew arrived, they discovered that one screen had been incorrectly measured or incorrectly cut at their manufacturing plant. We were promised that our job would be "expedited" and that we should get the replacement screen within two weeks. Again I called at the two week point, only to be told that they were unsure when the screen would be delivered for install. I was told it could take up to another four weeks. The screen was finally delivered and installed yesterday, 20 weeks and 2 days from the time of order and 8 weeks late according to the contract that they provided. I want to say that both of the install crews were very courteous and very professional. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up after themselves, but the lack of communication from the company about my job was tremendously frustrating. On one of my calls I was told that they wanted to finish the job too, because they wanted the balance of the money due ($3300). If the mistake had been on my part, I could understand the delay and snarky comment, but their salesman measured and verified the numbers in two separate visits to the house. I asked if there would be any financial considerations because of the long delay and was offered $100 off the $6600 job. I took it, but disappointed that they considered that an ample amount for my inconvenience. Overall, the product seems good, but customer service from company management was not. I give this place 5 stars because of the quality and professional installation. However; you must be prepared to wait several months over the entire process from ordering, measuring, to installation. Yes; communication could improve but the final result, having used this company twice in two years, is to be patient and finally enjoy great results with a 10 year warranty. read more

Received very poor service. No one would return my calls. After the storm shutter was finally installed, I could not remove the removable track as suggested with a screw driver. I had my neighbor come over and he could not remove it with a phillips head screw driver or an attachment to an electric drill. He showed me the tool he finally had to use. Also they were supposed to cement a hole that was miss drilled. when the track was finally removed, it had dirt in the hole. If there was any cement, it was at the very bottom. It took months to get the door. Supposedly I don't understand the business, but I had a friend order a complete house of storm shutters and special shutters for around their Florida room and they had everything done in two months. You can imagine my dismay that I waited 5 months for one door and waited over a month after my friend had their shutters installed. read more
