It was terrific from the buying experience and field measuring, all the way up to the multi-day installation! All Guard says what they'll do, and does what they say (somewhat rare these days). The Installational Department was very good at keeping me updated regarding the installation. I had a "cannot miss" hard deadline to get the shutters installed and they assured me it would be done - and sure encough it was! (I'm not gonna lie, at times I was skeptical, lol!) My install team, James and Adrian, were repectful, professional, careful and detail-orientated. It's hard for anybody to want or expect anything more. In short, they really did a great job! When the project was complete, they left my balcony clean and damage-free. In summary, I received a superior shutter system (Bertha HV), for less overall cost, a much better warranty, and a level of installation craftmanship that the other competing shutter company we investigated could provide - in fact, the competing company offered a lower quality product with half the warranty and was significantly more expensive than All Guard. I enjoyed a really positive experience with All Guard. I encourage you to give them serious consideration if you need new or replacement hurricane shutters. I bet you have a similar experiece. One company stood out Royal Shades and Blinds not just because Laurence is a fellow Brit (albeit a Southern Brit!!) but we wont hold that against him...much, ahem. Not only did he spend time measuring our windows with attention to detail, he then sat down with the wife (no hubby input here, I get it wrong I'm dead!!) and went through the colour options and recommending the best shades for each room some weird colour names but he got it bang on so no moaning. As stated we also had the big companies in and when the quotes came in I almost died, how much !! I was having blinds installed not gold thread or so I tought. Them Royals quote came in ..nearly 33% less than the others I still had tears in my eyes but it was a hell of a lot better than any other quote we had. Deposit paid stiff whisky swallowed and a wait of 3 weeks to install. Royal installed my blinds in less than day and they look incredible even the coconut (yes coconut) shades in the bedroom were a perfect match for the beige ! walls. We have total privacy, the blackouts in the living room are perfect for my Home Cinema and the Patio Blinds look fantastic. I called Simply Blinds in Cape Canaveral JUNE 2021 and made an appt for someone to come help me pick out blinds. The owner came she was pleasant, friendly and had a good eye. She recommended items and beat the price her competitor. I paid, she left and several months went by till she called and sent someone out to install. He was a nice young name and did a good job. During the install on the last item he mentioned that it was a little short and should be redone, he'd have the owner reach out to me soon. ...........If I only knew then that the next 1 year and 5 months would be hell. Now FEBRUARY 2022, after 7 months of calling, emailing and texting I reached out to her Business Facebook page and there was a RECENT post stating she was no longer doing blinds just plantation shutters. Shocked, I added a note about how I have been trying to get in touch with her to fix something and actually hoped to purchase 3 more blinds- Well, she finally reached out and said she would help me. She came over measured everything and saw the existing cornice that was short and ordered a new one. Months went by without an update (deja vu) so I started to reach out about every 3 weeks - no replies. JULY (1yr has passed now) comes around and I get a quick text, "items arrived, could set up next week. Perfect finally!! Nope ..... installer drives from Orlando to install and says she ordered the wrong items. He will let her know and he'll be back when new parts arrive. I called and texted and got a quick reply "ordered new parts" Perfect finally!! Nope.... SEPT comes new parts arrive, installer drives over from Orlando and says "she ordered the same wrong items" what!!?!? The installer tells me her husband has been sick.....Ok that makes this mess make sense. But I can't help feel that at some point she could have returned a call, text, email even back in 2021..... anything. Certainly she must realize I paid her, now twice and it's been a year from the start. I reach out Oct and then Nov, no answer, so I decide I'm done. I call her and leave a message asking for my money back. Crickets - completely ghosted. I went to her FB page again and she has posted photos of jobs she recently did, so she's working. I decide I want to post a "Buyer Beware" message there describing my 1yr and 5mo ordeal. Guess what, she finally reaches out and says the items are in. I ask if I can go pick them up, she gives me the address and phone#. I go to pick up the items and share my story with the lady at the front desk and she apologizes how awful it must have been but they can't find the items. I go back the next day and her son comes to the door and reams me for being rude to his employee the day before what!?? Never once did I get an apology during the experience and then they top it off with ugly disrespect to a VERY patient customer.Please do your research before you hire them. Now we both know they have been there probably a month. Her installer calls me and we try to set up a date before Thanksgiving, what do you think happens, she now ghosted her installer. Now he's calling me asking if I heard from her. Cannot believe this ordeal.

Space Coast Storm Shutters installed Bertha Accordion Shutters on all openings to include our doors and two Bay Windows. Their workmanship is exceptional especially on our two bay windows and they patiently went over the operation and periodic preventative maintenance of the shutters. Before selecting a contractor we got three bids and did a due diligence check on them all. Space Coast Storm Shutters passed with flying colors and are licensed and insured. We also visited three past jobs they completed and found all to be done in an excellent manner. In addition, their pricing is very competitive with the others. Finally, we just had a wind mitigation completed and received full credit which should lower our insurance premium quite a bit. Bottom line: We couldn't be more please with their excellent work and two of our neighbors seeing the job they did hired them to do their homes as well.

Several Years ago we had accordion shutters installed on our windows. They are very easy to close…read moreand lock. We also had electric roll down shutters installed all the way across our back porch so we don't have to move any patio furniture when we close them. We also roll these down when we go out of town for security. We also had an electric roll down installed on our front door. We are very pleased with them. They will come out annually to check the roll downs and oil them. Never had any problems with any of the shutters and are very pleased with customer service and the individuals who performed our install. We highly recommend them.
