They did a great job on our house in Vero Beach! They tied down our roof and did a great job of covering their work aesthetically.

UPDATE: Still love Ecoview! Absolutely worth the price and so glad I didn't overpay somewhere else…read more The window that arrived to them damaged was replaced and I haven't had any leaks or issues. Very responsive if I call. My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now. My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality. Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company. The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly! Carlos, the owner, has been spectacular. He came out to my house and met with me before I ordered. He was so thorough, knowledgeable, not sales-y. Really had a wonderful experience working with them. Still waiting on my inspections because one window was delivered to Ecoview damaged and has to be replaced- totally understandable! Once the inspection is done, the screw holes in the photos will be covered by a trim piece. Now that Dorian is approaching, I'm relaxing while my neighbors are boarding windows! BUY THE IMPACTS!!

I am going to make it my mission to make sure as many people, considering using this company see as…read moremany reviews as I can put out their warning them not to do so. My nightmare started last year when I allowed this company to install my windows and the failure over and over again to complete the job and refusal to do final and so on and so forth, but it didn't end there. About a month ago, I decided to replace all of my siding on my house the very first day out, he contacted me immediately and ask who in the world put in my windows, and I told him ikon doors and windows He then told me he was sorry to say that my windows were not installed properly at all and then I better get a hold of the company and let them know. I told him based on the terrible service I was given last year, I highly doubt it they would do anything. The next day I reached out and Dom Robin contacted me and told me he would come out and take a look he did acknowledge that same day that the windows needed to be installed properly with no apology really not that that would have helped meanwhile, my contractor showed me that my windows weren't even bolted into anything and if we've had a hurricane, my windows would've just sucked out my probably would've imploded as a result. Dom told me they would make it right and good review for me because he remembered the bad I had to give them the previous year. I told him I would believe it when I saw a different result, but I didn't when they reinstalled the windows correctly. This time it was before showing up late, not showing up when they were supposed to, and they did extensive drywall damage to the interior not telling me to expect that but even worse, just leaving the job saying they were done that day for me to come home and find all this drywall damage on the interior. When I contacted Dom about this, he told me my exterior siding contractor was going to repair it??? I had to remind him that my contractor did not work for was not higher for this and not hired to make repairs to the damage they created this past Friday he sent someone out here to do the drywall and usual a completely lousy person could not even be bothered to put plastic up, so it did not get all over everything and that I paid a fortune to be repainted last year and the other walls that I also paid all to be repainted last year after the windows were put in the first time. There is drywall texture all over everything caked all over the on the on the glass all over my ceilings. I have spent hours already cleaning it, and I have barely made a dent. All because they couldn't take five seconds to hang up a piece of plastic and protect the area around it absolutely shameful. Not to mention the very first day Dom sent person who was supposed to be so attention to detail Michael to make and the first Michael cracked my marble windowsill in my kitchen and the first day he assured me he would immediately be able to replace what I still have a cracked marble windowsill in my they will never repair. This company is absolutely pitiful and now the second time around they just the caulk on all around my windows. Didn't even do that neatly at least they did that the first time it's all sloppy and messy and all along the edge just a freaking nightmare. I will continue my mission to report this company to the Better Business Bureau to my safe Florida homes and as many other ways that I can review them so other people do not use this company! You will regret it! They have cost me hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of additional dollars

Well my nightmare started in April of this year. Once the contract left the sales representative…read morethere was no communication at all from the office. I had to call many times to get updates on when the windows would be installed and finally at the end of July the windows were installed, Not all because I had to get a fire rated window in the kitchen, So the install I do believe took 3 days (its been such a nightmare I cannot remember) . After the work was done I went around to get a close look I made a list of things that were not to my satisfaction and contacted the office and the Project manager Dom. Finally got tired of waiting for a response maybe 5 days not sure at this point I went to the Office to speak to the owner Josh in August . Explained everything to him and I do believe I had someone address the issues the following week. Now the kitchen window was installed October 13th after being ordered in April I understood it was going to take time But again NO communication on the window status unless I called the office. When the tech installed the window I asked about the screen and when was he putting it in, "I'm sorry there was no screen in the box". Are you kidding me no one opened the box in the warehouse to make sure everything was in the box or better still to make sure it wasn't cracked. Well the inspection was October 16th and the window FAILED no screen, cracked caulking, and very hard to open. Well its October 22nd and no one from the office has contacted me . DO NOT RECOMMEND this company Update October 28,2024 By the way I am in Melbourne FL not CA So my horrible experience continues Now that my kitchen window failed inspection the company is now telling me that the window does NOT come with a screen. WHAT I never heard of such a thing . They are going to make a screen for my window Let me just say this window because of the fire rated was over 9k for a 36 x36 . I am now looking for an attorney to help me with this matter .

I wouldn't hire this company to re-roof my dogs doghouse!! There's so many things wrong with this…read morecompany I don't even know where to begin!! First they send a fraudster, Gary Farmer (GOOGLE HIS NAME) to our house with a binder full of false medals and accolades from the military when the guys being charged with STOLEN VALOR, he never served a day in his life!! He went to the extreme to fake recommendations, medals, accomplishments and the whole nine!! We chose Steel Hammer who was the mid bid of the 4 companies due the the fact of Allegedly being Veteran owned, and being a general contractor as we had trusses broken from a fallen tree. First off they held our 10k down payment ransom for 2 months while giving us the run around on the start date, in that time we had 2 close calls with hurricanes....speaking of hurricanes, they even lied to me and said our materials were sent to the west coast because the hit areas got precedent, I called the supplier and NO ORDER was ever even made! I finally told them to give us our money back and we'd hire a competent company, this was after Gary tells me to do so, but at that point I was already going to do it because I hate LIARS and being ran around during a very active hurricane season. I guess the thought of losing money got them moving, and the thought of doing the whole hiring process over and waiting on a check during hurricane season led us to just allow these CLOWNS to do the job!! LET THE NIGHTMARE BEGIN!! Oyeah, it hasn't even started yet!! They were supposed to get a engineers design to fix the trusses in which I was guaranteed by Brandon and Gary they would do, it was my first question when they said they could do the job. We unfortunately were on vacation when the roof was fixed, or rather NOT FIXED!! I doubt they had a engineers fix on the first attempt, in fact I doubt the roofers who showed up even knew about the broken trusses! They slap some 2x4s half ass on it and re-roofed it! There was a bird bath so big you could see it from the ISS!! I send pictures to the Building Official and he pulls the passed inspection. Now a guy from Brandon's Daddies company comes over to try to do what should've been done when they had my roof ripped off. Now the counties involved so they're using a engineer, the engineer wasn't happy with the 1st attempt to fix it so he comes out again, at this point he gives up and says the roof will have to be RIPPED OFF to fix it!! They rip the roof off and low and behold it's still bird bathing, why? Because they didn't fix all of the broken trusses even after ripping the roof off a second time! They must've used a jack, or just forcing a 2x4 made our living room drywall drop from the ceiling more than before and it was because of a broken truss. They also came on Thanksgiving of all days to finish it!! I would give them 0 stars if I could!!

I had initially hired another company to replace my vinyl soffits with hardie board and when it became obvious that they had no idea what they were doing (pushed back on my for wanting certain things like stainless steel fasteners at the beach and a few other things) I fired them and eventually found BSS Exteriors. They were friendly and professional and like I said earlier, their system for setting up the job is impressive. They agreed with the need for stainless steel fasteners given proximity to the ocean and I began working with them to order needed materials (since I already had some). I got specific fastener requirements from Scott Weaver and when I found the nails he wanted, ordered them after checking with him that they were the ones he was talking about. After a long delay (likely due to COVID decreasing product supply), they were finally able to come out and do my soffits but I had already deployed overseas. The day they showed up I called my brother, who was at my house to manage any issues, and told him to instruct the workers that the stainless steel fasteners were in my garage and to ensure they use those. I was on the phone as the conversation occurred and the worker said 'I already have stainless nails in my nailgun' to which my brother emphasized that if they needed anymore that they were in the garage for their use. After the job was completed, I found out that they were not caulking all the seems and gaps in hardie and their response was 'we let the painters handle that as they are particular about it' (BSS was not doing the painting of my house). Learning point on my side is to make sure you specify everything in the contract but I'll take the hit on that one. As a result, I returned a few weeks later and began caulking the soffits only to find that the nail heads were all rusty. It turned out that they had put in galvanized nails instead, as all the heads were attracted to the magnet my brother used to check it. I also noticed that they were missing firring strips in 2 sections on one side of my house. I called BSS and informed them of their mistake and they came out, took a look and admitted their error. I understand no one is perfect although this was frustrating given how I'd tried to manage it very closely and it still was messed up. After a little discussion I agreed to having them come back, drive stainless nails in, then overdrive the galvanized nails all the way through the hardie and cover it up with a plastic filler compound to seal it inside the overhang in addition to adding the firring strips. After that agreement it took forever to get them to come back out and fix the issue. When they did come, over a month later, I was getting stucco on my house and they were unable to fix half of the house that day. I kept calling and texting Al Booth (the overall foreman) professionally about coming back out and finishing the soffits so that I could paint my house. Every now and then he would reply with an excuse and I took it in stride trying to just get the job done. I also kept reiterating what needed to be done which was the last half of the stainless nails getting replaced and the firring strips that were needed in two areas. A month (and many texts/calls) later he showed up, again while I was gone doing training for the Air Force and finished the nails but 'forgot the tools to do the firring strips'. I have messaged and called him numerous times, as has my mom who has been helping me while I'm overseas for work. There have been no answers to these texts. I finally sent a message to Scott Weaver and Al Booth together being very blunt about my experience and telling them to finish the job. So far Scott (the only one who has responded) has given me some excuses that sound very reasonable yet, I'm not getting any updates on a plan for action. I would never recommend this company to anyone. This has been the most overcomplicated and messed up job I have been a part of. From what I can tell from talking to their work men, they are really tasked out to a lot of jobs and the volume they are dealing with is a lot. It's very clear they are focused on production and have no afterthoughts about setting things right. That's been the way it was after the initial evaluation; instead of fixing it right away it's been whenever they could squeeze it in between other projects, weeks down the road. It's also been really frustrating because I've been very involved the whole time and things still have gone awry. Save yourself the frustration and time and go with someone else that is more committed to doing a job done right.
