He was delivering shrubs to my neighbor and I asked if they ever haul away branches for a fee. He agreed to help me out and was so positive to deal with even though it was a large amount of stuff for him to haul. I asked about the business and he said he and his brother are excited to continue the business with their dad who has been around for 32 years. I couldn't believe how nice and willing he was to help me! I'm looking forward to visiting their nursery to get plants for my new yard. If this is the level of customer care to be expected, this business has a bright future!

We walked in and they serve Penn state ice cream!!!! There is about two dozen flavors to choose from and they will let you sample too! I had the raspberry truffle and it was sooo good! I was there on an early May Sunday to find the three greenhouses stocked with vegetables, and flowering plants. So many that hibiscus flowed on the lawn as well. Lenik's has good parking and many trollies to load up your selection and push or pull around the area. Prices are posted on a chalk board outside each green house. Lots of easily identifiable staff wearing bright blue shirts to answer questions and check their phones to see if they have that unusual plant you are looking for. Brandi was great in directing me to several varieties I didn't see and even checked me out. I never felt rushed even though the place was buzzing. They had plenty of staff. They also proactively offered to plant it for me, and deliver it to their door directly vs shipping or using a service. They asked if I had a letter to send them include, that they could design into a card to include with the order. They really went above and beyond and took any and all stress out of the process, while my mind was a million other places given the situation. Paul took the time to meet with us both, to show us several of the houses he has landscaped; to give us ideas. We weren't sure even where to start, we just told Paul that we wanted a variety of plants and colors. He brought his crew in and within 3 days they had all the old plants out and beautiful new plants in place. There were trees of all colors, as well as evergreens of all shapes and sizes. There is an amazing stone walkway from our garage to the back yard, with different types of plants flanking both sides. Well placed boulders along the stairs help set off the small plants and ornamental grasses on the hillside. We were unsure of having lights placed among the plants but decided to go ahead with them. Wow what a difference they make, so glad we did. We are amazed and in awe of the finished oasis of lights and plants we have in our backyard and around the pool. We can't give enough praise to Paul and McMurray Nursery for a job well done; product, price, and his crew all included.

Never buy any river rocks or gravel from Phelps. I just bought a ton of 3-5 river rock, and at…read moreleast 25% of it is lumped clay and sand. Rocks are filthy and take gallons of water to wash. Terrible, my neighbor wanted to take it back and dump it there. But I decided to post here and help others. Won't be going there again. If I could give them a negative review, I would have. Also bought topsoil at the same time, and it is even worse - full of sand, dust, and mostly clay.

I ordered a truck load delivery of topsoil and was appalled by the quality. Full of pebbles and a dust-like quality that hardly resembled soil. I called the owner to express my concerns. He returned my call and said pebbles should be minimal, but that's about all he said. We will not order or buy from him again. Side note: The owner has a "GUNS ARE WELCOME" sign hanging behind the register. While we were checking out, my 7yo asked him why he has the sign hanging since guns usually are not welcome (in our home, that'the case). The owner didn't seem able to answer and just shrugged it off. This a fair question considering that 2nd graders undergo active shooter drills on a regular basis in this country. We miss Jenkins!

The customer service was fantastic as I was asked several times if there was anything specific I was looking for and if they could help me. It was nice to see several people on the floor working and anxious to be helpful to customers. I also found the prices to be really fair here. The water hyacinths were a couple of dollars less than the sad looking ones at the other place, and the couple of plants I got were priced at below what I would have paid at a big box store. I would always rather support a local business. I also remember from when I was younger that they do nice special events here such as Santa photos during the holidays.
