It was fairly difficult to buy a tree for our yard (November 2016). There were little problems like not having voicemail when they don't answer the phone. The delivery charge was raised beyond what was first negotiated. More importantly, they did not keep us updated on when they would be delivering the tree. They did not call on the day we expected, and then the delivery date kept being shifted back without explanation. I finally asked them why, and they said they didn't have enough employees to do the job. All of these small things are acceptable for a small business, and they wouldn't have kept me away. However, during our back-and-forth phone calls, I left a voicemail (it worked that time) expressing some impatience. The older man who returned my call told me I was rude. I'm actually a nice guy and still have the good manners my mother taught me. I was definitely not rude, and I didn't think it was appropriate for a business owner to call a customer rude, even if he thought it was true. We clearly have a difference of opinion on what constitutes good business practice and I won't be back. By the way, the tree is very nice. read more
