Called them after few minutes their tow truck came and took our car. Happened afternoon so they are almost closing. Next day, Billy called and said whats the problem with our car. It was transmission and a whooping $$$$! The level of communication that the people from Chris was impeccable, they call almost daily to give updates. Fast forward, parts was delayed and we received our car a few days before it turned a month. (Can you imagine how much we paid for rental?!) Anyway, they gave us a very good discount. I can't even put words how everything went. So you imagine the crazy stress we had experienced?! Thankfully Chris Automotive was very reasonable with their prices, staffs were great and our car is back! Will definitely recommend this place!

A Wonderful Classic Car Experience…read more I purchased a 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, and anytime I've had an issue with the car, the team at Westchester Classic Cars & Coachwork Ltd. has been kind, courteous, professional, and incredibly helpful. They have always gone above and beyond to get me safely back on the road in a timely manner. Dewayne and his family have made working with a classic car shop an absolute pleasure. Dewayne has always taken the time to explain the issue at hand in plain, easy-to-understand terms, without making me feel like I needed to be a professional mechanic to understand what was going on. Their knowledge, honesty, professionalism, and personal attention are truly appreciated. Owning a classic car can come with its challenges, but knowing I have a team I can trust makes all the difference. I highly recommend Westchester Classic Cars & Coachwork Ltd. to anyone looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy, and professional classic car service. A personal thank you to Dewayne and his entire family for all they've done to keep my Karmann Ghia on the road!

I hand wash and wax my car, and do much of the mechanical maintenance myself to ensure it's done right, so I'm very particular about caring for and maintaining it. I would bring any of our cars to Dwayne and have recommended his shop to many friends and family over the past few years. Dwayne is a man of strong character -- honest, forthright and fair. Finding someone you can trust is challenging, and he and his men do high quality work. I strongly recommend Dwayne and Westchester Classic Cars.

Brakes made a funny noise they'd never heard before but ultimately it wasn't their fault, tires wound up having a manufacturing defect so not their fault either, and alignment they redid but the steering wheel was still off center while driving. So big picture - nothing out of this world in terms of expectations of their abilities to fix.) Instead, they call and tell me "It's not a good fit working with you." This is work they originally did, that I even offered to pay for it to be checked again, and they're now telling me "We're not working with you anymore. Find someone else." I would stay away from any mechanic that doesn't stand by the work they do.
