There was a vehicle advertised online for sale at Big Spring Ford that was a great price and we…read morewere very interested in it. So we called to make sure that it was still in inventory and it was so we made an appointment to test drive it the following day in the morning at 10am. They were not busy at all and not exactly welcoming in the manner that usual car dealerships welcome customers. The building itself was extremely dated and dirty. It smelled old and like cigarette smoke. So as we sat down in one of the cubicles with a salesperson she attempted to get the truck we wanted but then came back empty handed with a gloomy face and told us that the vehicle had just been sold and is "under contract" from this morning... Hmmm wow it's been ages since I seen a "bait & switch" tactic they must think all people are gullible. The CarFax for this truck has been on the lot for over 90 days and just the one day we had an appointment it was sold to someone from Austin which sounds really odd because he put money on it over the phone... Sounds fishy right? Yeah we already knew we both wanted to walk out but we gave them a chance and guess what? We get told that they have a prettier model for sale but $7k over our budget. What a crock of bull. I was ready to go but my other half wanted to give them one more chance and we did test drive one that was a couple grand over our budget and it was nice but had exposed wires from a sound system and it was dirty and not showcase ready. So we asked if there were anymore and she said we don't have anything else unless you want a junker. Wow she was not in the mood to get paid. How ungrateful can you be when people are practically shoving money in your face and you just decline. No hands were shaken and she went back to bumming a cig from a client and went to smoke. By the way this business is NOT BBB accredited but they still have a sticker on their entrance door claiming they are. I see a file being claimed soon. So when you see an ad online from Big Spring Ford and it seems like a great deal... It's not. It's the good old bait and switch tactic. Go there if you dare. Just make sure on your first phone call that they aren't going to try and pull a fast one on you.

They charged $40 just to hook it up to the diagnostic machine. Then they wanted over $300 to replace the battery. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I like our salesman and I will still get my oil changed there, but that's it. My car is a 2020. They should have changed the battery for free.

The service center was able to diagnose my car and fix it in two days when all the other dealerships around were estimating to keep my car for at least a month. They knew we were coming in from out of town and were paying for a rental car and they helped us get our car back as soon as possible. They were such a blessing to our family!

So we stayed in contact with them the next Friday to let them no the check was gonna be late and they said sure you guys are OK, my wife even went in the office to do the credit application so all we would have to do is give them the money when it arrived, well they told her their boss wasn't there but would get back to us shortly, they never called so my wife called and said just tell us if we aren't approved and we will go look somewhere else instead he told my wife no need to your approved on the to vehicles no problem, well the following day we went to look to see if they were still holding our vehicles and they had put them back on the lot for sale. So my wife text the salesman and his response via text message said his boss told him he could only hold the cars for 2 weeks ok we are fine with that, Monday we got the check and called them to tell them it arrived mind you we were putting 16000 down for 2 vehicles, so we got a cashier check for the amount and we put full coverage insurance on both cars so we could drive them off the lot, 5 minutes later we received a text saying that there is a problem getting us approved. Wait you already said we were approved last week and we already had the cashier check and insurance and they told us sorry they won't in house finance us.
