Stopped in for lunch and got a Shrimp Po Boy Meal, which included a drink, salad and po boy for $15! Best deal in town. Food was fresh, great and service was awesome. The ambiance is typical for a chain seafood restaurant, but the food is a great value! read more

Ask for Tyler. Amazing service, great seafood. They have everything fresh. Atmosphere was great as well.

Ambiance - clean not too neat. Booths, tables, and patio dining available. Lots of locals were eating here with screaming kids. Fortunately, they came in as we were leaving. Service - Charlee was our waitress. She seemed more interested in talking to the other waitresses than serving us. After she delivered the menus she did get our drinks quickly. After the food came out, she did not check on us, but she did get me a refill on my drink. Food - lots of fried food. Fried coconut shrimp, French fries, fried corn fritter (that was really good), and two small hush puppies. The sweet and sour sauce for the coconut shrimp was good. The coconut shrimp was good, not overly sweet. I would order it again if I could get other non fried sides. This place is still the fast food version for seafood. This meal was good but there are still better places to get fresh seafood. read more

- Vibes: chill, small tables/booths, nice outdoor patio - Crowd: sparse on a week night - Menu: lots of options- apps, main dishes, salads, seafood - Value for price: 5/5, large portions for the price - Service: 4/5, a bit slow but very friendly - Parking: plenty of lot parking Visited shrimp basket on a weeknight with family. It was quite empty inside- we were the last ones in the restaurant- but service was quite slow despite this. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions! Be prepared for a bit of scraps/grease on the floors, it's a very casual seafood boil vibe. We shared three dishes btwn the four of us: - lowcountry boil for two: generous portion, not crazy salty or buttery. The potatoes were delicious and we were given a lot of shrimp/sausage. - Seafood boil for one: I'd stick to the former option. We got Cajun seasoning and medium spice, but it was just pretty buttery and not very spicy. The crab was a good portion, though - Grilled whitefish platter: good serving of fish but it was super salty. The green beans were also very salty (seemed canned?) but the shrimp slaw was amazing and so was the potato salad. I'd still recommend the lowcountry boil as the best item. read more

I got a half a dozen oysters on the half shell, we got corn. Fritters, we got cheese grits, we got fried okra, we got boiled shrimp and coconut shrimp, everything was delicious and the service was excellent from Kat! read more

We ordered food to go and I got the blackened catfish platter and my mom got the grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. The portion for the price was well worth it and the food tased hearty and well made. For sides I had cheese grits (so good!) and green beans, a classic that tasted just how I like them. They were definitely understaffed but everyone in the kitchen and the servers were all hustling hard to get orders out. It was a long wait, but when I was waiting at the bar customers seemed happy and were enjoying their meals. The inside is small but the patio is perfect for an evening meal. read more

As a disclaimer, I did not dine in, simply ordered uber eats for my son and truly feel robbed. I ordered an adult portion of shrimp basket with an extra order of shrimp, and it was not enough for a small 7 year old boy. If I had been there in person, I'm hoping the portions would be appropriate, but I definitely feel taken advantage of because of the uber eats. I will certainly avoid this place read more

Shrimp Basket - Adult shrimp basket with "extra" portion of shrimp - Seafood Near Me - Navarre, Florida

Locals said it wasn't fresh seafood, but we loved our food. Many different options to choose from and a variety of side dishes.

The food was good but they weren't very busy and it took 45 min for 2 meals. Our granddaughter got her burger and was completely finished before we received our shrimp meals. A group of 8 left because they were there for awhile and had no drinks or had placed their order. I'm not sure we will return. read more

We like eating here and the food and waitstaff are all so nice. Last night it was a Wednesday night at 5:30 and for some reason everyone was waiting for their food. We waited 45 minutes for pasta and grilled shrimp?! The waitress apologized twice for the wait but I think it would've been nice if chips/dip was given out to make up for the wait. read more

I am so happy the fish is back to the original batter! Now please change the slaw back. But I really wanted to just compliment our server Hannah. She had no help when we arrived and was working a full dining room by herself. And doing it in such a friendly, welcoming way. I never saw a bit of stress. It was so nice to have a meal in such a great environment. read more

Stopped here on the way from Destin to gulf shores. We always loved the shrimp basket but this location was awful. Waitress was slow and we were there for 2 hours for 2 people who ordered the second we sat down. I got the coconut shrimp basket and it was not good, very greasy and the sauce was overly sweet. My mom got a shrimp poboy and she could not eat it. We got beers and thought the glasses were chilled but it was just a white film on the inside of the glasses that we scrapped off with our nails and could not finish our beer. Terrible experience and would never recommend this location. We did try another shrimp basket the next day in gulf shores and was amazing as usual. read more

We are so happy Madison is back! Great manager/leader = awesome food, service, and atmosphere. We've returned many times in the past few weeks. We were looking for a pet friendly restaurant during a recent vacation in Navarre Beach, Florida and found one at the Shrimp Basket. The outdoor seating was busy but we were seated within a reasonable amount of time once a very large party left. I had the shrimp po-boy sandwich while my husband had the seafood sampler. The food quality was good and the service was friendly. While my husband was not too crazy about the Gulf shrimp on his platter, I thought they tasted great and I really loved my po-boy sandwich. While my husband might have a differing opinion, I would be open to a return visit! read more

We have sat here for about half an hour and not a single person has even spoken to us I understand that it is busy but I have seen tables ( with more people ) come in after us and they are getting there appetizers and drinks. Customer service here isn't regarded as a priority at this establishment. Please come to the shrimp basket in Navarre to have your time wasted. Don't know if it's the workers but I'm leaning more towards the management It's now been an hour we've got our drinks but new tables that have sat down already getting there food After an hour and 22 minutes we finally got out food! read more

Ordered food to go at the counter on our first visit. Came back the next night for dinner. Sat outside as it was too loud inside.Drinks were quick and most enjoyable...even the mocktail! Lots of good food for your money. We had the Red beans and rice and the gumbo. They were some of the best I have had outside of Louisiana. The green beans and potatoes had flavor and certainly was a nice change from the standard french fries and coleslaw ioffered in most Florida seafood restaurants. Support a local business and try the key lime pie!!!!!! read more

Best shrimp poboy ever. Service is fast, I'm a shrimp lover and this place is amazing.

This wasn't hard at all to find. It also wasn't packed at all. We got in and seated right away during dinner hours. We came here because we wanted some raw oysters and we saw that they had it. I tried their seafood boil on Cajun sauce. It wasn't bad at all. It wasn't too overly seasoned and had crab legs, shrimps, corn, and potatoes in the bag. I also tried their gumbo and I think that and the oysters were my favorite thing here. I liked how the rice in the Gumbo wasn't too hard. The atmosphere was pretty casual and there was also a small bar in there. In all, I didn't have a bad experience. read more

Kudos to Brian (manager) who came out from behind the counter to greet customers & take orders to help the waitresses. It was a weeknight & the dining area was busy. We ordered for pick-up seafood boil, which was supposed to include crab legs, which it didn't. It used to be part of the boil in previous years. The shrimp was, to say the least, not fresh. Actually, it stank. It stank up our car so much we could still smell it on the next morning. We had to dump it. We also ordered a stuffed crab shell, which had no taste whatsoever, being totally bland. Also ordered boo-boo shrimp, which was good, our only consolation. The price for the whole shebang was around $100, including the modest (10%) tip. Had I known, I wouldn't have paid even that. In fact, they owe us. Total disaster, excluding the boom-boom. read more

The Catfish basket fish was not fresh;had a strong fishy and old grease taste and smell. The meal was $19 before tax which is way overpriced for "cubes" of catfish and sides. I am not eating it so it's just an waste of money. This was my second and last time trying this place. I have had better fish at Capt. D's. read more

Behind the innocent facade of a long john silvers looking building, sits a casual southern americun (yes, americun) chain. There is a couple of these down here, but, i swear it is unlike any chain there is. We got lucky and have a guy training under a lady who were we happy to trip up with "we's good, how is youins?l" the food is amazing, as you can tell by the pics. My great grandmother made the same greens as pictured, and i swear she made them! If you see a fritter and hush puppy by my beer, it's because they hit the floor, 5 second rule does not apply. The beer was Pensacola Riptide Amber, which was amazing. The $5 pina colada was delish!! read more

This particular Shrimp Basket is located east of where Navarre Parkway and S.R. 87 intersects. With that being said, this is a convenient location The staff here was friendly enough. It also had a cool enough ambiance. For a chain restaurant, I think Shrimp Basket does an overall good job and while I would never call it outstanding, I will say that this small chain does a pretty good job. read more

Food was good and our server was friendly. Food arrived pretty fast. Will definitely be back when we're back in the area.

We have driven by this place many times and finally decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was delicious! My fiancé does not care for seafood, but they had plenty of options for her. She ordered the chicken tacos and we were surprised at how good they were. The atmosphere is casual. The service was spot on - friendly and fast. We will definitely go back to this gem. read more

Wanted to grab something quick to eat and didn't want fast food, so we opted for shrimp basket. We aren't really ready to eat inside restaurants, so we were excited to see online ordering available. We placed an order successfully, but it didn't show when the order would be ready! How were we to know? So we called the restaurant and they said about 20 mins. We were already at the restaurant so we just waited until 20 minutes had past and picked up the order. We got shrimp two ways: grilled and and blackened, and honestly I couldn't tell the between the two. The fries were soggy and not y memorable. I had also ordered a fried stuffed crab and it was extremely dry. Not worth the extra $$. Yes, it was better than McDonald's, but I expected a little more. read more

You need to bring your white fish & shrimp slaw back. Very bad move to get rid of both.

John the manager receives no stars cause his non managerial skills were non existent when I called to complain about his cold child size portions on a fish and shrimp platter that I paid in excess of 20.00(see photos) for, times two meals. His training failed him and he cracked and hung up in my face. Along with not having large size cups they gave me two child sized cups. I know not to expect much but I did expect better from this establishment. So disappointing. read more

Stopped for dinner with the family had a great time. Our server Brady was very efficient and courteous we had three young children with us. The children had the kids meals, two whitefish meals and one shrimp baskets. Plenty of food for each of the children in the baskets they had. My DIL had the shrimp po boy and again plenty of food and also very tasteful. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. My wife had the chicken basket and again cooked very well and plenty of food. Our son had the shrimp basket and once agin plenty of food in the basket. I had the endless popcorn shrimp and order twice plenty of shrimp and it was hot and cooked perfectly. Drinks were plentiful and refilled regularly. We had a great time and really enjoyed our meal and time at the restaurant. Keep up the great work. Only thing is the tile floor was very slippery walking around. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This has to be the absolute worst service & food I've ever had. Our server couldn't tear herself away from the bar long enough to put our food order in. We waited over an hour, asked for the manager three times, received excuse after excuse on what the issue was. I received my food 30 minutes before the rest of the party of 5 I was with. When the other 4 plates came out 2 were cold & the seafood boil for 2 was insanely disappointing, 22 shrimp total. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else! read more
