Coughed up well over $11,000 for a new Caldera spa with the newest ($1,000 option) salt water treatment system. System quit after two (2) months and I suffered cyanuric acid burns. Replacement cartridge was $125 but was backordered forever. Converted my new spa over to freshwater. After much digging, I learned Showcase Pool & Spa had supplied the wrong startup instructions, wrong chemicals and wrong test kit which is why the $1,000 optional salt water system was a failure. $500 later for chemicals and testing materials and a water change, surprise, it works! Horrible customer service, inept technical service, deficient product knowledge, poor communication and the worst part is deceitful/dishonest statements on multiple occasions by both Zack and Andrew. Once they've got your money, they make it obvious that they no longer care to help their customer. Also, I'd never recommend this business to anyone looking for pool/spa products, pool supplies or to see products in their showroom. Worse than used car salesmen, these guys will grovel to you to make a sale, promise you everything and then fail miserably to make good after they've been paid. When I contacted them to request service, Zach followed-up with me to get more information and set a time to do the service. They had the spa pump in stock, and he returned to replace it within a couple days. Zach made this so easy for me. He's very thorough, knowledgable, and pleasant. We purchased this Caldera spa from them in 2014 and we are very pleased with the choice we made. The pump/ motor went out on my hot tub so I went to Showcase since they are the ones that sold and installed my hot tub originally. I told them the exact model spa I had, showed them the manual that came with the spa, and told them I wanted the exact same motor as the one I took out so that I wouldn't have to redo any of the plumbing connections under my hot tub. Well they told me they had 1 pump left and that it was the exact same kind as what I took out. So after paying them $500 cash I get the pump home and what do you know, its not the exact same kind of pump motor and of course the plumbing pipes and connections don't match. I went by Showcase the next day and thats when they bother to tell me "opps, sorry but they don't make the same size and type motor as what originally came with my hot tub". But, they would gladly rework the plumbing and hook up my brand new motor that they just sold me for a $175 service call! After asking if they would work with me on the price of the service call, since I felt mislead about buying the wrong pump to begin with, and them telling me "nope, sorry" I told them fine. I had to give them my credit card number just to reserve a service call spot and was told there service guy was busy on Monday but that he should be able to get to me Tuesday or Wednesday and that he would be giving me a call. But after a day of not hearing from them I gave them a call, then I called them the next day and the next day after that and each time I was told the service guy has my number and would be giving me a call. Now, to this very day, 21 days later, I still have yet to hear from there service guy or there sales rep. Stay away from this place, there's much better options in town! There place of "business" looks like its closed from the outside, the inside looks like an overflow warehouse that should be closed and it fells like the buy here pay here used car lot of the hot tube world. When I start looking to replace and upgrade my hot tub in 4 or 5 years Ill definitely be going someplace else. TJ read more

Not a Happy Pool experience! On 7/7/18 ordered/purchased a pool package from this company..deposit $200 was given to start process.Written on top of contract was Ronnie Mason sand 4yds to be delivered before pool installation.Pay installer $99 + off level when finished. When asked about cost of these, was told by Kim sand $150, and first 4 inches free, $25 dollars for each additional inch.. 7/10/18 Paid pool in full Cash! Got phone numbers to call Installer, Sand guy. Called installer and was told the earliest date was 24 July for beginning project, set this date. Installer is the only company recommended by every pool company in Pensacola. 7/11/18 called for sand delivery for pool grade..was told it was 6yards needed and cost would be $242.20.. when questioned about cost, and amount, was told that the size of the pool needed 6 yards, and the $150 cost was 10 years ago quote! Ok, set date for delivery for 7/20/18. 7/20/18 Sand delivered..paid cash $242.20 receipt issued. 7/23/18 Pool installer calls says behind due to weather will be out 25th.. 7/24/18 Pool installer says he's on his way to our house to grade..advised we weren't at home, and date was to be 7/25/18.. 7/25/18 Pool area graded paid $175 check, no receipt 7/25/18 Pool installer called stated he miss calculated and an additional $249 would need to be paid for pvc pipe install for pool filtration system and grading. 7/26/18 Pool installed..paid $249 by check, no receipt. Install crew left all pool trash from set up. Steps not assembled, because liability issue. Not happy, as we were not told we would have to assemble. 7/26/18 started filling pool.3 days to fill because of water pressure, and 10,600 gallons of water. 7/29/18 pool losing water 7/30/18 Husband called office to advise Kim that pool not holding water. Advised by associate, Kim off, need to call installer. 7/30/18 call installer, he states he will be out to check 8/3/18 pool install crew come out to check pool/verify we have a issue.advised liner was bad, would have to install new liner, will advise when they'll be out to replace. 10,600 gallons water gone, pool start up chemicals gone!! 8/6/18 pool install crew called, will be out to install new liner. Regretting getting a pool from this company... my yard is a wreck.... the contractors left boxes and trash everywhere... FYI, apparently the ladder is not included in the installment...They also removed 2 bags of fluorine sanitizer from the start up kit from the Box that clearly States there should be 4 bags For up to a 16,000gallon pool... When contacted they tell you they remove 2 bags because you don't need it although every 2 weeks you'll need a new bag... This is clearly misrepresentations of labeling... read more

Waited 2 months for anyone to show up. Called/ texted them on occasion to check on their eta. Took me finally being annoyed to get anyone over. They replaced a topside control panel on my hot tub, left and it still doesn't work. The service man was nice, I'm not blaming him. The guy that schedules him though.... He's a complete liar! And bad at that, he lied at every corner. At one point he even told me that Mary esther was soo far away from pensacola. That's why they hadn't made it out. And that his worker was currently in Mariana. (2 hours farther away then Mary Esther). Avoid this shop at every cost. I'm out 400$ and my hot tub still doesn't work! read more

In response to the bill board, I called Showcase Pool, Spa... Although the board advertised above ground pool prices starting at $999, when I went in as invited, I was told and provided on a sheet of paper the following (since they did not have brochures or posted prices): 24' pool form $3999-5999 and 12x24 oval pool between $4999-7499. I retuned a few days later along with my husband. I asked her to go over the prices and options again so we can make informed an decision, at which point we told the range for the 12x24 oval pool was between $5999-7499. So we agreed to right the order for $5999. As we were signing the receipt, which they later referred to as contract, I noted it stated, Buyer agrees to 25% cancellation fee. I stopped and asked, "So there is a cancellation fee?" The lady answered, "Yes for taking the pool out of stock and scheduled the installation for you. If you pay in full, it will be 25% if the full amount. If you put $200 down, than it will be 25% of $200." My husband than asked me to write a $200 check. As we're walking out after giving the check and signed the receipt, the lady said, "you know, I will not contact the installer until the pool is paid I full." I questioned, "thought you said the pool has to be paid in full before the it can be taken out." She replied, "I can call the installer, but the the pool won't be b pulled and installation will not be scheduled until the pool is paid in full. I was so disturbed walking out that I told my husband while driving away we should call asking for our check back since it does not seem to matter. When we arrived home, I checked the receipt against the prices the lady wrote down for me when I went the first, and noticed a discrepancy in the starting range. By then I knew the closed and resolved to call on Monday since it was a Saturday evening. First thing on Monday, the installer called and scheduled the installation, which was more encouraging. I then called Showcase Pool.. about the discrepancy's the starting range previously provided and the price we were paying. She informed me that we were getting a 52" in height pool whereas the beginning range of $4999 is a 48" in height. I told her we wanted to 48" instead. She preceded to tell me that the 48" was a cheap pool and that the ream would be metal as opposed to resin. That interaction held a bad taste in my mouth, but I went on with the process because the installer contacted me earlier and asked me to arrange with the sand person to deliver 5 yd of sand on the following Monday and to arrange with the electrician to come in after the prep and installation on Wednesday and Thursday. I called the sand person the same day and left him a voicemail. I then called the electrician who answered, and the call got disconnected as I started to speak. I called back, no answer. I left a voicemail after the second try, and then sent a text. By Saturday when I did not hear back from either one, I called Showcase and Pool.. to voice my frustration, and that I was not comfortable to continue with the process. I asked for my deposit to be mailed to me. The lady told me she needed to look as my contact, and went on to say I would not receive my deposit back because there is a 25% restocking fee of the total cost of the pool. I reminded her in light of the circumstances I should not have to pay 25% of anything, but even so, she told me the restocking fee would be on the amount I deposited whether it were $200 or the full payment. She said she had to check with the supervisor. A man called me shortly thereafter. He said he was sorry about the misunderstanding, but he would not give me the $200 back. $200 is not $25% of $5999 or $4999. I come to realize the misleading info was intentional. How could I pay restocking fees on an item I never saw, touch, or that never left their possession? I need to check with the Florida attorney general' office regarding the legality of the terms of their receipt and their application of those terms. Not trust worthy!! read more
