First time experience trying an escape room. It's harder than you think. Take a large group with you to explore the whole room(s). It takes a clear mind to process all the clues in order to open all the locks and get out within the one hour time frame. The attendants were very personable but professional. They gave us clues each ten minutes if we were on the wrong path. Wonderful experience for those looking to sharpen their observation and mental processing. We will be back to try one of the other rooms/experiences read more

Emma was so kind C: She helped us a lot !!!

It was my first time experience and I had a lot of fun. The rooms do need to be repaired from people playing around with the props or signs but other than that it was well thought through read more

airal did a fantastic job and it was very well kept and enjoyable would definitely recommend!!

Lots of fun and a friendly staff. I recommend booking groups to go to each experience. I know I will definitely return.

Had an amazing time at the Escape on Palafox. It was challenging and fun. We had a group of 4 and did the Haunted Room. Only one of us had done an escape room before. We managed to barely escape (it has a 40 % escape rate). Staff was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend. read more

Escape On Palafox - Escape Room - Escape Games Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

I adored this escape room so much. It is well organized, the puzzles were challenging but always in a fun rewarding way, not the tedious way. Our game master, Brooke was a delight and so helpful. Her instructions were clear cut and simple. And she gave us great clues without giving anything away. The room we picked was called Haunted and it certainly lived up to its name! Lots of ghostly activity going on in this room. It was well-designed and will certainly give you the thrills you're hoping for and family friendly enough for our twelve year old who was apprehensive at first. He had a blast! Of course with that being said, use your discretion since all children are different. I won't go into what the puzzles are because that would take away from the magic of the experience. I will just say that if you love solving puzzles, you will love these. We were a group of six people with different thinking styles. I think any more than that might've felt crowded. Overall, the experience was amazing. I am a big fan of escape rooms and have done many of them from different states. And this was definitely one of the better ones!!! Can't wait to come back and try the other rooms! read more

Escape On Palafox - We Escaped!!! - Escape Games Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

Who knew that there would be an escape room in little old Pensacola, FL? I'm from San Francisco where I believe escape rooms first started popping up in the USA, so I have done about 5 rooms now--I was pleasantly surprised/happy to know that one has sprung up in P-cola. Talk about an easy money-maker by the way. Since I've done a few rooms, I can say that some were well-organized and more fun than others, depending on the company that did it. Escape on Palafox was very well-organized and clean. Our host was very nice/professional. I did the Secret Agent room since it was the only one available at the time I signed up (APR2016). As of this time, they said that 40% of people have escape (~120 groups so far). It was an awesome setup and was great fun with my party of 8. I liked their system of giving you clues and the actions you have to do were creative. Again, I've done more than a few rooms and every single one has been different. I would do Escape on Palafox again in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate to sign up especially if you've never done something like this--you don't have to prepare at all and everyone brings something different to the detective skills table. It's great team-building and just something fun to do. Tip: I recommend one person booking the entire room ($25 x 8 = ~$200) then just having your friends pay you back. But even if you have a smaller group it can be fun with strangers. read more

Had a fun time with the family trying to save the world. The puzzle is difficult, we were close to solving it but did not get it finished in the hour. It was tough getting started and lost a lot of time in the beginning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good time. read more

So much fun! Pricey but worth it. My husband and I went and were paired up with a couple and a group of 3 women. I was nervous at first but we all worked really well together and finished with 6 minutes to spare!!!' Haunted was scary but in the best way! I wish I could watch the video of muscle freaking out over and over! We will be back for the other rooms! read more

Jamison explained everything really well and was an excellent game master. Note for future visitors: the haunted room is NOT for the faint of heart. But if you love horror and being jump scares, it's right up your alley! read more

We escaped from the museum room. The puzzles were difficult, but were really fun to figure out. Hunter was great! He was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back! read more

This was only my second experience with an escape room and everything from start to finish was wonderful! My husband and I were one of three couples doing this room and our group also included a small family. The museum room was large and complex enough to pose a challenge but also included a wide and cleverly designed series of challenges that allowed every member of group - regardless of age - to contribute and engage with the puzzles. My first experience wasn't so positive and I can say without exaggeration that Escape on Palafox has single-handedly reversed my opinion of escape rooms. I only wish I lived closer... read more

Clean facility and lots of fun! Definitely something new and different to do with friends/family/coworkers. I'm looking forward to the their new rooms opening this summer. I will be back! read more

The theming on these rooms elevated what was a low bar expectation. Whenever I visit a new city we always check out the escape room scene. We have pretty high expectations of rooms as the escape room scene has evolved from the simple 4 wall locks and codes into a multimedia extravaganza of games that make you forget the outside world for an hour. There are a few execution issues that I think just might be a staffing issue that might affect some less experienced escapees. Their theming was on point, it was the first "horror" room that I actually got a fright in. So props to that. The room, and probably venue itself fit nicely between first gen heavy lock rooms and technology filled puzzles. If they started replacing locks with more themed puzzles they would definitely be in my top 5. read more

very great environment and the workers and very nice. although didn't really enjoy being put with other people last minute. overall experience was very fun and we escaped both the museum and wired. can't wait to do the haunted room next! read more

My friends and I did the "It's All Wired" room. We have done many escape rooms in the past, and even previously had a very good experience at Escape on Palafox, but we were incredibly let down this time. The room itself was decently clever, but there were numerous electrical issues which prevented the room from being beaten, even when typing in the correct answers. The lady had to pause the timer, come in, and check on things. For the final puzzle we had to lean on wires a certain direction to get the connections to register as being correct and even then it reset a few times and started over, which took precious time off the clock. We should have beaten it with ~10 minutes left, but due to malfunctions barely beat it with under a minute left. The worst part is that the employee didn't even apologize for it. The challenge of escape rooms is figuring out the puzzles. Not troubleshooting your electrical issues in the process. Fix your room or at least offer to compensate the consumer in some way if it doesn't work as intended. With the amount of money they're pulling in this should definitely never happen. read more

Had a lot of fun! Sam was great to us and we'll definitely be back in the future! We did the art museum heist, our group came in four and we worked with four other people. It was nice because you get to know other people as you work with them and everyone has to cooperate together to get through everything. This was the first time I've done an escape room and I loved it! Thanks Sam for making it a special experience for us! read more

This was the first escape room I've done. My fiancé and I went for my birthday and ended being with a group of 6 which made it fun to do it with people we didn't know. Our host, Mario made the experience more enjoyable for us with clues. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like something new to do downtown. We did the Museum Robbery, but they change up the 3 rooms to something different every so often. read more

My family of 4 went on June 28th. My daughter wanted us to go on her birthday. It was great. Our cruise captain was Samm. I was pleasantly surprised. The four other peeps that we had to do the room with was pretty great too. Overall great fun. Got out with 6 minutes to go. So it was well worth the money. read more

One of the best executed escape room places I've been to. Had 10 people working on one of the scenarios and everyone had a great time.

We needed one more person to join us, called ahead and they told us if the other two people were okay with it that it was fine. We even offered to pay for the whole group. We arrived with our extra person and the man from the phone, Chris, lied and said he had repeatedly said no to our one extra person. He became very aggressive and I had to tell him several times we understood, that he was saying no and to calm down. The customer service was horrendous to say the least and it was terribly rude not to allow one extra person. read more

Experience was super fun, and host was very helpful when we got stuck. Some of the clues didn't make sense but looking back on it, easy to see that if you didn't overthink it, it made sense. Highly recommend it, will come again. We did haunted and I had some younger kids with me 10-12, it was fine for them if you are concerned. read more

Yes!! It was amazing and incredibly fun. Clues lead you everywhere!! The only thing that threw us off is that the person that set everything up before we went in forgot to properly lock a....lock. Other than that, completely worth going. read more

Had a great time at this escape room location. The hubby and I had been to the one in destin and gulf breeze and we both agreed that this one on palafox has been the best so far in terms of aesthetics and the way the game was played out. This place is easy to locate, metered or street parking. The interior is nice and spacious. We did the Secret Agent room with a 40% success rate and our team beat it. The secret agent room was spacious and had a lot of twists to it. One clue was very difficult to see and find so hopefully they will change that around. Otherwise the clues pretty much flowed together, you didn't have to be a math or science genius to figure things out. Most places have a way to request for a clue, like a walkie talkie or something, this place didn't (I think they should look into getting this feature). They would just clue you if u wasted too much time on a certain task. They had a large flat screen tv in the room that counted down the time remaining. Afterwards we took pics of our success. Great place, I can't wait to try the other rooms. I glad the time the place is open is getting earlier for those of us who have babysitting time restraints. Lol read more
