In utilizing the yelp platform, we proceeded to give a call to the office to schedule. They were very prompt to schedule a free in home consultation the very next day. Jeff was our sales representative and he was very courteous and helped guide us thru the process. We wanted to ensure getting a set of windows changed and he helped do an initial measure and then gave us a run down presentation of our options and the technology behind the windows being replaced ( retrofits). We even had a chance to talk about grids and learn new terms and technology about the windows themselves! Jeff was super patient with us and answered all our questions, even as we had little ones to deal with around the home. What mattered the most was we were not pressured to move forward, we felt a big sense of confidence in the level of detail as well as clarity in the process. Went to Dixie Door to replace an exterior utility door. Turned out the door opening was larger than…read morethe standard size door so I was looking at a custom door. Anyplace else I would have been looking at a huge price tag since I wanted fiberglass. Matt figured out a way to add a piece to the door to create the proper size. After Matt worked his magic with some putty, sanding and primer you couldn't tell it had ever been touched. Matt did an amazing job, in one day, going above and beyond what I expected. I asked him if he could recommend someone to install it (there were some carpentry issues) and he immediately made a few calls and found a contractor who stopped by my home a couple hours later. It's now the 16th and he has made zero attempt to contact me and has not responded to calls, an email and a message through his website ("hey, even if you aren't ready yet--could you tell me whether you are still intetested?"). I've now given up and wasted a month on an important project. I can't believe how disappointing this situation turned out to be and I do NOT recommend wasting your time with this company.
