This is first review I've written on Yelp, but I felt compelled to do so based on the overall very…read morepositive experience I had with the Auto Source team. I purchased a Porsche Cayman R from them recently and this was one of the easiest transactions I've ever had with a car dealer before. Buying a car can be a stressful thing even under the best of circumstances, but buying one sight unseen from an out of state dealer can be a potentially perilous proposition if things don't go well. However, overall Auto Source made the experience almost pain-free from start to finish. My salesman was Brandon M. and he exhibited a high degree of professionalism and courtesy throughout the process. The car arrived exactly as it was described and with no surprises, which is exactly what you want in this type of transaction. We did a quick and relatively painless deal without any unnecessary negotiation and gamesmanship. The price was agreed fairly quickly and the deal was done. I would have liked to have made this a 5-star rating, but one small issue prevented me from doing that. I had agreed to pay a $300 "split the difference" shipping premium to get the car here as quickly as possible, but they were not able to deliver on their original commitment of "2-3 days". (The car arrived roughly 7 days after I had made payment to them.) Not a huge thing, but I had agreed to that extra amount to get the car earlier and then it didn't happen. Their solution? They offered to refund the $300 immediately when I called them expressing my disappointment. The check arrived with title and a nice handwritten thank you note a few days later. I don't understand why more dealers don't get that a little professionalism, courtesy, and honesty is all it takes to be successful in this business? It seems the folks at Auto Source, however, do. So, I'll give Brandon 5-stars and the overall experience 4-stars, for an average of 4.5.

We proceeded to get a 5 minute lecture on how sales people prefer to spend time with customers with a shorter buying time span (aka more profitable customer). He then got the rav4, left it out front. Said another sales person would be there soon. We waited 20 minutes and no one came. I walked inside and half the sales reps are chatting with each other. Told them to take the rav4 back in and left. I told him I planned to purchase a vehicle within a week and had narrowed my choices to three makes, including Subaru. After the test drive, we reviewed numbers. The Forester Hybrid in my preferred color wasn't in stock, so Sheridan quickly checked on a dealer trade. He returned with his manager, Paul, who confirmed they could bring one in from Wisconsin and presented a written out-the-door price. Paul understood I still intended to test drive a Honda and applied absolutely no pressure. I felt respected, well-informed, and confident in the offer, so I decided to move forward with Subaru without visiting Honda. This was the Saturday before Easter, and Morrie's had my new Forester ready by Monday. I left the dealership feeling completely at ease with my decision. I highly recommend Sheridan at Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru.

Professionalism - this is a big deal to me. I went to another PDR place nearby and few other places to get a quote on a Z4 and a 335 I had. One of the more reputable places around spent more time complaining about other shops, particularly Jake's for the longest time. I took my car over there to see the difference, and the estimate that I was given was less than half of what the previous shop offered. I was skeptical at first because of the price difference, but WOW what he did to my cars was nothing short of a miracle. There were a few other bonus areas that were even added as he said it was easy to get to while he was fixing my car. Even after mentioning what the other shop had told me, Jake did NOT lose his cool and approached it like a professional should, with their work, not their mouths. 2. The work - awesome PDR. Sent friends that had quotes for thousands from body shops, get brought back to like-new states without huge bills or time out. He also let you know when you needed to take it to a conventional body shop for repairs that were too extensive. Honest guy with great skill and attention to detail. Really can't ask for much more from a car business.

However, they have an awesome lobby with coffee, snacks and pop. Grab as much as you can carry out and head over to the Auto Center Bargain Lot where great deals happen. The bargain lot is mainly supplied by vehicles traded to the Lexus dealership. People that buy from Lexus usually take very good care of their vehicles and you'll find many great, gently used cars that still look almost new that carry the legendary reliability of the Toyota family of vehicles. We found an amazing deal on a 2016 Toyota Avalon. The interior still looked brand new, was never smoked in and had just over 100,000 miles. The dealership paid to fix the passenger door which had some scratches and a small dent. They also replaced the water pump and brakes, changed the oil and gave the vehicle a full inspection before we took delivery. They also filled the gas tank which was much appreciated. My wife is very happy with her car and I feel like we got an amazing deal for $15,000. If you don't want a payment book for 84 months with interest, if you don't want to pay a thousand dollars next time you get tabs, if you don't want to pay high insurance premiums, if you don't want to pay an absurd amount of sales tax, the Auto Center Bargain Lot is where you need to find your next car. If this all sounds good to you, ask for Matt Stanek. He is friendly and most importantly honest and has a lot of experience in car dealerships. He may even tell you to wait until new inventory arrives so you are happy with your purchase. That's how honest Matt is with his customers. I never knew about this dealership until now and will definitely be buying from them in the future. Thanks for a great experience!!!!
