We found out Thursday night that my daughter was possibly going through liver failure at the age of 1! I called and asked for a 1 day extension due to this hardship and since all my payments are on time or early! I got no help and was told that I had to call in before the day of due (even tho I have proof that this all happened the night before.) I was informed that my car would be repo if I missed the payment by even 1 day and that there was nothing they can do. I ended up having to borrow the money from a stranger because I wouldn't be able to take my daughter to her appointments for treatment if it was repoed!!! Again I never missed a payment and have even been paying a day or two early. This doesn't even mention all the replacement parts I had to cover myself because when I took the car in under their fake warranty the bs shop put anaerobic gasket maker on my gas cap to stop the air leak (which caused me to have to drop the tank and drain it due to potential contaminants in the gas) and it wasn't even the issue I brought it in for. I brought it in for a slipping transmission which I ended up having to get rebuilt elsewhere at my own expense. (I would never go Thur this company for car again. They don't care if your have hardships. They only care about their payment. The car I got Thur them turned into a money pit. As soon as I get one thing fixed something else go wrong with. I'm not even sure the car is safe to drive. It's turning out to not be a reliable car. When I told them about all the problems I'm having with the car they didn't offer to get me into something more reliable vehicle. Just give us our money.) Definitely agree with this review! It seems I'm not the only one with the same issues here!

I called Robert Burkey at labadie in Bay City and he and Marcus in Service made sure it was taken care of for the price of my deductible plus tax, $107.00. I bought the car from Robert at Labadie and he took care of it. I only went to the other dealer because it was only 10 miles away instead of 50. Robert and Marcus were great and got me out the same day. Thank you very much to you both. Darleen B.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have no problems with the salesperson at all. But…read morethe used vehicle we got. My God. The vehicle we purchased from this place has been one of the worst purchases I've made in my entire life. We bought a 2016 Grand Cherokee Jeep and I don't even know where to start with this vehicle. Suffice to say, it is a lemon, and I feel I've driven more loaner vehicles than this car. Never works. Always breaks down. And the worst part: the technicians at Labadie never had an idea how to fix it. We used up our warranty on this car, and it still barely works. The thing is a curse; we finally paid it off so we wouldn't screw our credit score. I hate this SUV, and thanks to Labadie, I hate Jeeps now for the rest of my life. Why sell a car you don't know how to fix. I will never come back here, nor recommend this place to anybody I know. This is the most unreliable vehicle I had. I am a mother with a small child with an useless vehicle. Again, I have no issues with your sellers, but this SUV...it's an absolute nightmare. I had 4 garages and a mechanic look at it, and no one knows how to fix it. I've driven this thing less than 10.000 miles in the 5 miserable years I was chained to this lemon. Other dealerships don't want it because it's so awful. What is your screening process for vehicles because this thing should have NEVER been sold. You guys put the BAD in LaBADie. I know this review won't change absolutely anything, but I needed to take it off my chest. You guys drained my money and my faith in used cars.

back in November before thanksgiving we were driving home doing maybe 60 on the freeway when we…read moreheard a huge BANG. That bang was my transfer case EXPLODING. With the transfer case exploding it caused my driveshaft to fall and snap. Where the driveshaft connects to the transmission there is a little knuckle. That knuckle you can't just replace, you have to replace the whole transmission. Well, we have a warranty on the car since I'm still paying on a loan for it. Mind you we were 2 hours away from home. We called for a tow and had it towed to the nearest Jeep dealership. That dealership was Thelen Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. As I stated above this happened in NOVEMBER. I was working with a guy named Josh. He was great. Very informative and kept me up with all information and called me back within 24 hours of me calling. NEVER left me hanging for days. We both tackled contacting the warranty company and fighting with them about a new transmission since they denied it at first and said "you continued to drive the car after the transfer case exploded and the driveshaft broke". ‍‍ if you don't have a transfer case or a drive shaft how can you drive? You CANT. So I argued with the warranty company till they finally admitted that I was right and they put in for a delivery of a new used transmission. Took like 2 weeks for them to get it. They finally got it but the tech was on vacation. No big deal. A week or so later they got the transmission in.. and it was bad. Josh had to file a complaint with the warranty company and then the warranty company had to file for a warranty replacement with the transmission company. That took FOREVER. Well they received that transmission roughly 2 months ago or longer. Well Josh had left the company and my car just kept getting pushed back and other cars that came in WAY after mine, got fixed. I was calling almost every other day to get an update. I spoke with a younger gentleman that said he was working the case and said they'd get to working on the jeep that week and it would done by the following Monday. I call the following week, and spoke with a lady and she said she was now working the case.. (hmm) I said okay, and asked when my car would be done. She said the following Wednesday it would be ready for pickup. I said awesome. A week and a half later which was Wednesday I called to get an update. I left voicemails DAILY for a week. Spoke with another gentleman when they finally answered and they said it would be another week till they get it into the bay because they're working on another car. At this point they had been saying itll be done in a week for damn near a month. Finally my husband calls them and said that if it's not done by that following Friday that we would be coming up there regardless to pick it up and we'd be bring a lawyer as well. May 8th we head up to the dealership which was a 2 hour drive. We open the trunk and they have a metal bar that was part of my car and they said that it was damaged so that's why they didn't put it back on. Okay fine as long as it wasn't important. Everything looked great. Well we get home and literally have it parked for less than 30 minutes and you could see a small puddle of trans fluid under the car. We just tossed it up like it was just residual trans fluid that maybe when they were filling it up they dumped some. Well it is NOW May 22nd. It's been EXACTLY 2 weeks. There is no way it's just "residual" fluid. I have a big puddle of trans fluid under my car ONCE AGAIN. Mind you, they had my car for damn near 6 months. SIX MONTHS and there's STILL an issue because now it's leaking trans fluid. Ive called the dealership and now I'm just waiting to hear something back because if I take it to another dealership closer they will start all over again and I'll have to pay a lot more out of pocket. And the fact that all the issues weren't fixed I don't feel safe driving my car 2 hours, and I'm not paying and i shouldnt even have to pay over $400 just for a tow to get to the dealership. Plus if I drive it there then the warranty will be null and void because I "drove it damaged"

For any of the other buyers who gave them only one star, their experience would have been improved by doing just a little research online. Carfax reports are easy to get, and deals can be found by just doing a simple online search. I was allowed to take the car I was looking at on an extended test drive, take it to my mechanic, crawl all around it - before I was even certain I wanted to buy a new used car.. Rob Curran, my exemplary sales person, even asked me the best question I was ever asked when looking at used cars. "What DON"T you like about it? If we can figure that out, I can find a vehicle that will fit your needs better" Wow - what a great approach! I really felt like I was getting the personal treatment, and wasn't just a wallet with legs. (as it turned out, there wasn't anything I didn't like - so I am driving it today!) Rob really is the best of the best - catch him at the Subaru lot and be ready for personalized service. I am super happy with the '12 Forester I bought from Rob. It was time to retire my '03 Stratus (purchased from Thelen 7 years ago). No car dealership will give you what your car is worth on a trade in, so I financed the whole thing, and sold my Stratus for a good price the very next day :)
