The car of interest was in transit. Pricing seemed fair. Both parties seemed very polite and respectful. My husband found a similar car at a shitty dealership and was willing to deal with that crap for the car. At the time, inventory was hard to come by. They required less money at signing and had a lower monthly payment than a couple of other dealerships I had checked with. Had my oil changed and tires rotated, much faster than in previous visits Afterwards, 10 minutes after leaving, change oil light came on. Receipt said oil index had been updated. Called dealership, receptionist forwarded to service, no answer- answering machine Called back- paged service manager Service manager said it was a lube shop problem, forwarded me there Lube shop said it happens all the time, they forget to reset index. Automatically prints on receipt that it was reset, whether they reset or not. He walked me thru resetting on phone. I am not really sure if my oil got changed or not.
