It's worth any full price or mark up to me to have it wrapped. At times the sales folks have made me a tinge uncomfortable. Kind of comes off as overbearing and I get some stares. I still drive an hour to Naperville to another locally owned toy shop whenever possible bc I tend to feel more welcomed there. Here, there is a bit of a weird vibe. I have been interested in the original 4-part Wolverine series for a while, and since the shop had all 4 issues, I asked whether they were newsstand or direct issues. The employee took them out of the case and assured me they were all newsstand, but when I got home and conducted a bit more research, I found that they were ALL direct issues. Whether it was due to incompetence or ignorance, I won't be placing anymore trust in this shop, which is unfortunate because I had a high level of interest in a lot of their glass-case collectible issues. Yes, this is partly my own fault for making the purchase without conducting further research first, but to be taken for a ride like this by an employee who is there to assist customers is enough reason to stay away in the future.

Most of the capsules are 4 or 5 tokens, where each token is about $1 (one can get a volume discount if you buy more e.g. 11 tokens for $10). It does 'encourage' you to buy more since most people would buy in 5 token chunks, leaving you with one measly token. There are probably 12 different chambers, letting you choose a certain type of toy...but the exact one is based on luck...which is part of the fun I guess.
