They painted all the walls, trim, doors, and garage, and even repaired a couple of damaged baseboards. Every detail was handled with care. The owner David and his crew were meticulous, always left the space spotless, and consistently showed up when they said they would. Communication was excellent throughout the entire project. They made sure I was happy every step of the way and were incredibly informative about the products being used--especially the benefits of choosing a higher-quality paint, which I ultimately opted for. Budget-wise, David was honest and transparent. The only increase from the original quote was due to my decision to upgrade the paint, and it was absolutely worth it. I received quotes from four different paint companies, and out of all four, only Hill Country Renovations and one other were seriously considered. The remaining two were ruled out due to significantly overpriced quotes and, from what I gathered, a lack of transparency about the scope of work. Interestingly, those two later came back with large discounts--offering to lower their prices if I chose to go with them--but by then, I had already made my decision. I'm so glad I stuck with Hill Country Renovations. This company is well worth every dime spent. When I'm ready to paint the exterior, I'll absolutely be using Hill Country Renovations again. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and honesty made this experience exceptional. Highly recommend!

He was up front with all cost considerations, including worst case scenario issues, so we knew the full best case and worst case range going in to the project (and not surprisingly, we came in somewhere in the middle, the additional costs were all associated to city requirements associated to the permit). The project timeline was great, they made incredible progress on all days where the weather cooperated, and he kept us informed of next steps every step of the way. I couldn't recommend Rusty highly enough. We talked to 4-5 contractors that were happy to do an estimate and let us figure everything else out, Rusty provided the above and beyond service that we absolutely had to have just to get the project started. I always thought of myself lucky to not have roof damage with all the hail we receive in Georgetown…read more(east of IH-35). But my luck ran out. Didn't notice anything amiss until I went into the spare bedroom, flicked on the light, and saw yellow. I looked at the light fixture, and it was full of water!!! There were water stains going all the way across the bedroom, even outlining the A/C register. Never having dealt with such, I started to panic. I telephoned my insurance carrier first to get guidance. After speaking with them (and answering a million + one questions) I started contacting roofing companies. Yelp was my first step. I wrote down the name of 3 companies and started phoning. APEX Roofing in Georgetown was my first call. They came out the next day and went on the roof and also in the attic. They took pictures so I could see. The culprit was a solar panel component that was no longer sealed, thus my roof leaked, dripped onto the ceiling's drywall, and into the light fixture. The 2nd company came out same day but did not go on the roof, nor did they enter my attic. They strictly relied on pictures from a drone. (I wasn't impressed with the lack of hands-on). The 3rd company, well, I didn't give them a chance. I cancelled because of the professionalism and hands-on inspection received from APEX Roofing. They were present when the insurance adjuster made a full inspection. After receiving word from insurance to proceed with repairs, I signed on with APEX. APEX took on the role of contractor & sub-contractor. They arranged for the solar panel company to remove the panels so a new roof could be installed (higher quality architectural shingles providing me with an insurance discount). An Attic Breeze solar attic ventilator was also installed. (Come on Summer 2024!! I'm ready!!) APEX arranged for the bedroom ceiling to be restored and painted to pre-damage specs. APEX arranged for the fenced backyard to be pressure-washed to remove all signs of hail strikes and re-stained. Gutters spouts were replaced. Then APEX scheduled the re-install of the solar panels (with the company I purchased the panels from). All work was done per insurance claim/quote and then-some. You can't place a price on professionalism, quality-of-work, positive attitude, and smiles. I highly recommend APEX Roofing in Georgetown. My sincerest thanks to John Bear, my assigned project manager. Without him, I'd still be in a panic. And to the rest of the Georgetown APEX Roofing team: Thank you Thank you Thank you! ~pam
