We arrived hungry for burgers but the bartender informed us that they moved the kitchen to a new location which we can order food from, but it would take 45 mins to arrive. No thank you. As we were leaving, another couple arrived, asked about food and promply left, so this is clearly an issue. You need to remove all the pictures of food associated with this location to stop disappointing potential customers!

The beer still holds up very well and is still very flavorful and infectious in the best way possible. The beer I had most recently was the 1862 Mexican Lager. It was fantastic and I dropped a very high starred score on Untappd just like how I am doing here on Yelp. That Mexican Lager was great with it's clean and crisp flavor with citrus and a light sweetness. While I definitely recommend this beer I don't think there are any beers that I prefer over another because they are simply that good as far as I'm concerned.

Smoking isn't allowed on the patio, but unfortunately they have their designated smoking spot just outside the far corner of the patio (at least that's where the cigarette butt receptacle is) so cigarette smoke was blowing on us while we tried to enjoy our beers on the patio - ick! (and we were sitting on the far side of the patio away from the person smoking). They have a nice variety of beers, and you can get a taster flight of 6 beers, 4 oz. pours each, if you're having trouble deciding. Their pizza is supposed to be great, but we didn't eat while we were there, so I can't speak to the good quality.

In addition to pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers, they've added a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, spinach artichoke dip and ice cream floats. They have a nice variety of beers and ciders. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love their QR code ordering system. It helps you get your food faster and you can just pay your tab on your phone. Such a convenience! You can also make reservations online, which is great for large parties. As others have mentioned, it is located in an odd industrial area set back from the main road. It's easy to miss if you're not watching for their sign. There's plenty of parking and a large outdoor seating area during the summer. Upon arrival we saw a few different beers we wanted to try. Luckily quite a few of them were in cans which we took home but we had a beer there at the taproom also to absorb and relax at the taproom location. An adorable cat that more than likely lived there or put in a hard working shift of charming customers was present and we made over the kitty and pet it when it came to see us. Such a lovely cat! But onto the beer now! For the beer that we had at the taproom we had the Rice and Shine Japanese Lager. This was a pretty solid lager and one of my favorite types of lagers. I do love a lager that involves rice. Perhaps not the best ever that I have come across but still quite good. The flavor profile of this beer has a clean, crisp and refreshing aspects to it along with a biscuity flavor. The rest of the beers we had went home with us in cans. One beer was the River Pillow. This was a Pale Ale and had a nice, soft feel to it. The hop presence wasn't too overwhelming. We had another Pale Ale also. This one was called the Shredipede. This beer has a clean, crisp and citrusy presence to it. It is bright in hue and is nice and crushable which means you can have more than one with ease. Moving on from that was another kind of lager. This one was a Mexican Lager. The name of this one was the Pinche Chela. Mexican Lagers are another favorite lager of mine if not my #1 favorite for this beer type. This beer has a nice corn taste which provides a natural sweetness and the beer is nice and crisp. Again... perhaps not my most favorite version that I have had but enjoyable all the same. After that we went to darker beer territory and had a dry Irish Stout. I love these kinds of stouts because of that dryness aspect at work. Other flavor features in this are roastiness, oatmeal and the feel of it is smooth, creamy and soft. An excellent stout. This was a good stop and I am glad this brewery finally got tried out.

They had a lot of taps so a wild variety for everyone but it is rare that we find places more for me than Ben. Between the two of us we tried 12 tasters while there, 7 being for my styles! Aside from the beer, they also have a really yummy looking menu and Ben zoned right into the pork schnitzel they had, which I don't see on the current menu but it was amazing! We also had the beer cheese soup as a starter. Everyone was super friendly, even offering to take a few photos of Ben and me enjoying our beers and food while making great conversation. With the amazing food, spending a few hours here was like nothing and 100% helped with making sure we ate while trying so many varieties of beer. Worth the short drive to visit and I'd suggest them to anyone who likes sours and ciders!!

Placed a DEPOSIT equal to the min charge expected for large group using their room. Food I ordered (chicken) was rubbery and pretty tasteless. But the worst part was they kept ALL of my deposit, not just the piddly amount we were shy of meeting the min charge by. This resulted in an overcharge of over $100. On what planet is an establishment entitled to retain what was clearly labeled in the contract I signed as a DEPOSIT, not a FEE on top of the full check amount with $0 credit given for the deposit. I never went back and still tell anyone who will listen. Glad this location closed. Heathen thieves!!
