Prices…read moreare reasonable, ingredients are fresh, and they clearly take pride in the food they're serving. A lot of restaurants have been cutting corners and sacrificing quality to turn a quick buck, but not here. Detroit 75 is representing their city well. I'm not sure if they're the 3rd best food truck in the country as currently rated, but it's the best I've tried in years. 4.56 stars.

I'm gonna start with the egg rolls, they were by far the best part. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the #75 sauce made it even better. The chicken tenders were good; but the fries were not that great. Maybe piling the tenders on top made them soggy but we ate it within minutes of receiving it. The house ranch made them better. The Atwater chicken has a lot of potential, the garlic cilantro aioli needed some salt or something, you can taste it has good body just lacked punch. So the chicken sandwich was just ok. Service: Amazing, my brother made good recommendations and they were pretty quick about getting the order ready. Always appreciate a kind face that doesn't need to rush you as you ask questions. Ambiance: You can get expensive gas while you wait for your food. I'm sure it's an awesome spot when the weather is warm. It's definitely a spot to come back to. We enjoyed our meal.

I talked to John Lambert, one of the new owners, and he said the original owner, Yvet Muftari had stayed on for 3 months after the sale of the restaurant to share the recipes and train the staff to insure continuity of food and service. Today was the first breakfast I had from Mike's. I ordered a half order of eggs, ham, and toast. It was huge. I asked John what is the difference between a half and whole order, and he said the ham circles the entire plate. OMG! Check out the pic. I got lucky today and got a double yolker. I understand Mike's still makes the mile high ham sandwiches with that extra slab of ham on top. Of course, the bean and split pea soup are incredibly good, too. If you've never eaten at Mike's, you're really missing out. Give it a try and you'll understand why "famous" is in the name.

I have been a big fan of corned beef and pastrami for years but my go to is on the other side of the city not to far from Dearborn, there is a couple other delis in eastern market area, one I like and the other I think is outrageous and the people there are rude, well today I was in the mood for a good corned beef on rye, got looking at a few apps I have and I come across Champs which is in Gratiot Central market where I go to buy certain meats to grill and smoke, but I never have gone there to buy prepared food, well I'll tell you it was Very Good ! The place is simple ,it is clean, they have a cool old Ford truck in there well the have half of it but none the a nice place , and the lady that waited on me was very cool, I decided I wanted Pastrami Indian it was excellent the , it was not greasy which is what I like to see it was heated just right and got slaw on it and my bread wasn't a soggy mess, I thought the price point was very good for my sandwich which also came with 2 pickles that were good and my drink, And the info I read is this is a small business this isn't corporate owned this is someone or family doing it cause they love please try support small business they need it now more than ever , I thought it was very good I hope you do as well.

I visited Promenade Artisan Foods during a Yelp Elite event…read more The service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. The layout is a bit confusing. They could also use different signage to highlight menu items. After ordering a drink, I noticed, handwritten on a glass partition, a drink that I would rather have had. My original drink order hadn't been prepared as of yet, so I was able to switch. I appreciated the accommodation. The eggnog/coffee drink is a delightful concoction. Definitely give it a try if you like both drinks. I noticed lots of pastries and unique sandwiches. The menu is certainly what I'd call "artisan". Prices are moderate and comparable with other like establishments. The little cafe is a great addition to the vibe of the building.

It has a European café feel with breakfast and lunch offerings like sandwiches, croissants, and pastries. So far I've tried the rosemary shortbread and the breakfast sandwich. The rosemary shortbread was very buttery with a hint of salt and sweetness. The breakfast sandwich is very filling. It's basically an omelet filled with cheese, bacon, and spinach between two slices of ciabatta. It comes with fruit and whipped cream. Everything is delicious and of high quality. The service is very friendly as well. Since I work in this area I will be stopping by to try other menu items.
