I have been bringing my children here for over 12 years. Both of my sons have accelerated to the level of black belt but not without hard work and determination. Jeff Hunt is not just a karate teacher he is a mentor, father figure and an Elder. Jeff Hunt has created a professional nurturing and loving environment. This school is a family the children have a bond and a sense of community. They have not only learned to respect each other, carry themselves inside and outside the dojo with godly character but to also share and give back the tools they have learned. One of my boys has a learning disability and through the discipline of Jeff Hunt he has learned to listen focus pay attention which has impacted his social emotional and educational learning. Most important each child walks away with a sense of accomplishment knowing that it's not how you start it's how you FINISH! Thank you Jeff for all you're hard work and investment into our children, community and village.

Without doing anything wrong or any explanation, the coach pulled him out of the gym and took him to the first floor. When we were trying to ask what happened, he shut the door at our face. Hope you read this before considering taking your kids here.

Each class was challenging and fun; you definitely learn something new every class. Sensei Avi is patient, courteous, professional, and has a sense of humor. Classes are 1 hour long (Tuesdays and Sundays), except for Thursday where classes are 1.5 hours long. Classes are always interactive because you are paired of with somebody 1v1 to engage in the technique that Sensei Avi wants you to practice. Each technique typically runs for 3-5 minutes depending on the involvement and complexity. Time passes by way to quickly because you're busy having fun. During each practice of the techniques, Sensei Avi does come by to assist you to make sure you're practicing correctly. The lessons and techniques I learned from this school are invaluable, and will be something that comes to you almost second nature. Of course, the more you practice and attend the classes, the more fluent you'll be. I currently have to stop taking classes due to upcoming trips, but I hope to be back. I highly recommend coming here for Krav Maga, and I believe if you call you can schedule a free class to try it out. It's definitely worth a try. I was hooked after my first class.

Despite all of that, when our class was supposed to take place today, our entire group was left standing outside in the cold because the owner simply **forgot** our scheduled class. This was, without question, the most disappointing and unprofessional experience our homeschool group has ever had. Our outings are usually smooth, positive, and well-coordinated, so for something this important to be handled with such carelessness is extremely upsetting. There was absolutely no accountability, no apology that matched the situation, and not even an offer to make up the class they failed to provide. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of responsibility, communication, and basic courtesy shown to our group. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Their behavior falls far below what one should expect from any business--let alone a martial arts school that claims to teach discipline and respect.
