Like others commented the price tag for what you get is paltry. The lobster was good, and butter is always good, but small. Maybe I'll have to go to Boston instead.

Well that did not happen to me when I finally got to try a Lobster roll from the famous LobstaTruck. A few years ago I was at the Tustin AMC when I saw the truck. I had heard about it so we went over only to see a line that was 40 yards deep. No way to make our movie so we put it off. A few months ago I was somewhere that they were going to be only to learn that the truck broke down and the killer was last month when I was in Irvine and saw on Twitter that they were a couple blocks away. I finished my meeting and drove right over only to see the driving away. Aaahhgggg!!!! So today was a few miles away in Long Beach and decided to try the roll. I was shocked to find that there was no line and only a few marines that had just picked up their orders. I was surprised to hear whether I wanted butter or mayo. I thought I all rolls came with mayo but I asked what was more popular. The gal mentioned that the butter was more popular so I had to try that one. I was thinking about adding the extra meat but I am glad I didn't, the roll was perfect although I wish it were a little bigger. The roll here comes on what looks like a giant buttered Texas toast, not the hoagie type roll I was imagining but the toast was really delicious and adds a lot of taste to the roll. My roll had plenty of meat and had a few big chunks that you can really bite into. It had some butter on the lobster but not so much that it was oily. Just perfect. I cant believe how good it was to taste this awesome explosion of deliciousness and I cant wait to get back to try the sandwich with mayo; you know for research. Next time I will also try the lobster bisque soup. The Marine that was eating next to me also had the soup and it really made me crave it but I had a big breakfast this morning and so I will have to chase down this truck again.

Drink was just the right amount of sweetness and tasted like fall. Also got the pumpkin matcha, which was amazing and unique as well! I love the pumpkin cream top. This is a cute little coffee cart inside a library. Lot of space and area to hang out and study, read, and even just enjoy it the coffee. Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted by the owners of the cart which was very friendly. They walked us through the menu and suggested a few drinks. They explained how all of their syrups are homemade (thank god!) which makes them different than other coffee spots. We decided on trying the smores latte which has their homemade gram cracker syrup and their Speakeasy latte which has their homemade caramel apple syrup. Apple is a really hard flavor to extract or get from making it at home so it seemed interesting. The lattes turned out very good and the coffee beans were excellent quality. We would for sure be back to try new menu items and hang out!

Here's the surprise though--although I LOVE the sausage dogs, and it smells heavenly, I go for the drinks: horchata, agua frescas, and flavored lemonades. They sell a huge cup (24 oz) for $6 and it is totally fresh and fabulous. Packed with fresh fruit flavor. On the recommendation of the staff, I started mixing them. Today's was half Jamaica flavor with half pineapple/mango. The selection changes slightly from week to week and includes regular lemonade, mixed berry lemonade horchata, soursop guanaba, jamaica (that's hibiscus punch), cucumber spinach lemonade, passion mango, and sandia watermelon. Great place to stop on a summer day!

They have a large selection of sausage and beef dogs with all the fixins'(grilled onions, peppers etc). I was really craving dogs and had the very large Polish sausage with onions, green peppers and the Hebrew National Kosher hot dog. The service was fast and both dogs were the best I've had in the area in years...hot right off the grill and super juicy and tasty. There is also a nice juice selection and I had the mixed berry which went great with the dogs. The boss told me they're in mid-wilshire every wed afternoon, USC the same evenings and other days in Anaheim. Prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommended for sausage/hot dog fans.
