We started at Ozark Distillery, they do tastings you get to choose 4 spirits & two beer samples. They have plenty to choose from. The ladies behind the bar were both really nice and helpful, It started to get busy when we did our tasting so we did them pretty quick & it goes straight to your head but they had a water jug out which helped! Spoiler alert I don't like to taste my liquor but free tastings can't be passed up. I got the blackberry mule & it was very refreshing and yummy. The patio was nice even though it was drizzling they have a covered spaced and big umbrellas over the tables that aren't covered, we sat under the umbrella and it was a really nice morning! The Lake has enough average food, so this was a happy surprise. We started with the Brewhouse board. It features an interesting selection of pickled veggies, mixed nuts, cheese curds, variety of sausage, bread and meatballs. The dipping sauces were great. Next we had the pepperoni flat bread with hot honey and bacon wrapped figs with goat cheese. Both excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He told us all about this place being a wine and brewery bar. It is an old church great decor, very relaxing, comfortable and social. The lighting is low and the music in the background added to the flare. We had a bottle of red blend wine which was absolutely delicious. They provided free popcorn as a snack. We ordered a board with different meats and snacks, which was great tasting, and enough for four people to share. If you have not been to this place, it's a must try next time you are in the Osage Beach area. Brian's wife Jen served us and she was sweet and friendly. Thank you, Brian for telling us to stop by your place. We love it and we will be back!

Our first visit to Encore and it definitely won't be our last!…read more The atmosphere alone is worth the trip. The upper level has a more upscale feel, with a beautiful dining room and an incredible covered outdoor space complete with a stage for live music. The massive windows and stunning views overlooking the peninsula make it the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening. As for the food... wow. I had the crab legs, which were cooked perfectly, but can we talk about the green beans for a minute? They were ridiculously good. If licking the bowl in public wasn't frowned upon, I might have considered it. Colin ordered the salmon, which was absolutely beautiful and served with rice pilaf. Chris went with the crab-crusted walleye, and it was cooked to perfection. Emma Grace chose the giant pretzel, and giant is an understatement, it was the size of a dinner plate! It came with an assortment of charcuterie-style accompaniments that were fantastic all on their own. Then came dessert, and somehow things got even better. The bread pudding was hands-down one of the best I've ever had. I don't eat bread pudding often, but this one may have ruined all future bread puddings for me. We also shared the cheesecake and cookie skillet, and every bite was delicious. To top it all off, our waitress Makayla was absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience even better. Great food, beautiful views, amazing service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Encore knocked it out of the park. We'll definitely be making a return trip next summer!
