My previous stylist wrote out my formula which I provided to the stylist at Roots during a consultation where I was assured that they could keep my hair consistent with what my previous stylist had done. Despite the fact that they had the formula, they took (what i percieved to be) short cuts to get me in and out faster (I have a fashion color and while I know its time consuming to do it right, I'm paying upwards of $200 to come to you, if you don't want to take the time to do what the formula is explicitly explaining for you to do, then cool, let me know that and we'll part ways on good terms). I gave them chance after chance to get it right but it became clear it wasn't going to happen. At one point a darker color was put on my roots without okaying it with me first (i absolutely did not want that), another time my roots were made even lighter than the rest of my hair, effectively giving me hot roots. I eventually gave up and went to a new stylist/salon, gave her the same formula from my original stylist and my hair came out like it always used to before going to Roots. I'm more than willing to work with a stylist to fine tune things but it was clear that they either didn't understand how to work with the color or were just set on taking short cuts to save on time, which is fine, but then the service is not going to be worth the amount of money your asking me to pay.

Iridescence Salon & Spa - Heaven in York July 31, 2021…read more I could tell you about seeing Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, or how it feels to Sky Dive. I could share pictures of these things, I could even share videos with you, but nothing I could share with you would equate to you experiencing these things yourself. And that is the case with the Couples Massage & Facial treatment at Iridescence Salon and Spa! Karen and Veronica provided our services. Karen performed our massages and Veronica our facial treatments. The expertise these ladies exhibited was exquisite! They both were very amicable and very professional. Karen provided me with an awesome massage while Veronica provided my companion with a facial treatment. My massage was firm and direct on the muscles in my neck and back as needed and then firm and gentle when appropriate. Karen is a Master at this craft. I would be remiss if I did not share with you that my massage was so relaxing, I dosed off to sleep several times during my massage and only awoke when I startled myself by the sound of my snoring! I was too comfortable to be embarrassed. In fact, I was told that slumber during a massage is a compliment to the level of treatment being provided by the masseuse. Well, if that is the case, I was full of compliments during Karen's treatment! When my massage was completed and my companion's facial treatment was done, Karen and Veronica switched tables. I then received the facial treatment as my companion received her massage. Veronica, not to be outdone by Karen, provided me with a refreshing, pore opening facial treatment. Veronica explained the phases of the treatment as she performed them. This was my first facial treatment at Iridescence, and it will not be my last. As I mentioned there are several steps involved in this process. When all was said and done my face felt clean, fresh, and vibrant. I know, that may sound a bit peculiar, but as I wrote at the beginning of this review, there are some things you must experience in person in order to gain the full and true appreciation of the event. The pampering we received at Iridescence Salon & Spa in York Pennsylvania is something that you must experience to completely understand! Thank you, Karen, Veronica and the Team at Iridescence for a Heavenly experience!

Marvelous Experience! I visited this store thanks to my…read moreboyfriend's recommendation. I had scheduled with Dane Nguyen on the very last day of the year and had a wonderful experience. Dane suggested me very enthusiastically and patiently waited for me to choose the color (yeah, I must say that this is one of the nail salons with many beautiful colors and you will spend a lot of time deciding). I told him that I wanted my nails to be durable and sparkly, he suggested I do deep then paint a cat eye, and then he saw that my hands were too empty so l asked him to do a freestyle drawing and he did not disappoint! Finally, Dane even lent me a huge diamond so l could do a video with this adorable set of nails. I highly recommend this nail salon and l'll come back here when I come to visit PA again!
