It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience). What a weird experience. I'm always interested in the colorful characters these tiny little towns and their stores. The pizza? Some of the best I've found south of Holland. The sauce had a hint of sweetness, and the crust had a couple of semi burnt bubbles that added to the delicious crunch of the crust. The taste may not be worthy of a five, but certainly a Midwest tiny-town-in-the-middle-of-nowhere five, and certainly worth a visit for pizza, miscellaneous baked goods... or beer, wine, and lottery.

He was 92 years old. I said "hey devil" and he looked back at me. I asked if he was there and he gave me his dates on island. During our conversation (which was basically a stare at each other, a lot can be said with that type of interaction) both of our mouths tried to make words but nothing came out. I shook his hand and said thank you. The look on his face was one of the best stories I ever heard.
