This was not a premium lens such as Zeiss which is aspheric and has a very durable glare free coating. It does not have blue protect and later finding out polycarbonate is a poor choice of material the Rx in question. A high index lens would have been more suitable, not to even mention polycarbonate has the worse abbe value in all lens options. The price paid was them railroading me. The cost of a standard polycarbonate lens with a standard anti reflective coating to the practice is close to the 5 dollar range. They charged over 400 I totally understand that the practice needs to make a profit, but that profit totally shakes and strangles the money out of their patients I recommend that anyone reading this first do not go there and 2 do research on how much opticians charge for their lenses and ask questions on material, features, brand, and warranties.

I went there thinking it was an emergency. I had one appointment and was scheduled to come back for a follow up. I was 15 minutes late and was told that I was late and no more appointments were available. In the interum, I was advised by the Eye Institute office and given a name for yet a different "tribal" doctor who repeated all the exact same duplicious tests as the Eye Institute and billed for the exact same tests which costed an equal duplicious payment for the same exam! The cortisone treatment was misperscribed and I continued to suffer in pain. I returned to my original Eye professional (not previously mentioned) who immediately sent me to their specialist, Advanced Eye Care. This medical office healed the issue. Being it was serious I was immediately placed on an extended predisone treatment with several follow up visits for months. I felt a bit scammed being passed around as a cash cow only to be milked for every possible nickel with no results. Obviously the bottom line was money as the main objective.

I give this place a five star for a few reasons…read more 1. The organization and order here is a plus. I'm not sure if it's because the trying times in which we currently live in that this place has an exceptional order and structure to how they operate but it's a plus plus plus in my book!!! 2. The staff here are very informative and friendly. I find that they move expeditiously but not in a way that you would feel rushed. 3. The ophthalmologist that attended to me and my hubby was awesome sauce! Why because she spoke in a respectful tone, her appearance along with her aura says she loves what she does. She too was very informative. Lastly do to me and my husbands sense of humor, when Dr. Ramserat asked us to read the lines FKJML we started reading the lines FREDDY, KING, JACK, MARY, LIMA she still remained professional when she could have responded differently. Instead she smiled and laughed with us and told us that we were originals but she enjoyed the time as well as meeting us. Now as far as the selection of Glasses wasn't pleased with that too tough.

I was generous with two stars. The front desk is horrrrrribleeee! First of all, leaving voicemails…read morein Spanish when you have no idea what language I speak is absolutely crazy. I speak English only, so now I have to be inconvenienced to call the office (when their constantly leaving you on hold) and ask what they're saying. Secondly, they are so far from accommodating, they gave me an appointment over one month out for my child. Lastly, I recently made an appointment and I was early so I called from outside asking if I could go in and the lady said "I just wanna let you know your appointment is four days before what the insurance will cover".... well thats funny because when I called to make the appointment (more than a month prior) I specifically asked to have the appointment on a date the insurance would cover! The receptionist on the phone was absolutely unprofessional, hardly spoke English, and was so far from accommodating!!! Oh! It may be true, but the last three times I went, just so happened my child's eyes are getting worse and worse and he needs special (expensive) medicine from them that insurance will not cover. Stay away & find a different place!

I am not just saying this just to say it, but she was amazing. She really took the time with me and really acknowledged. What kind of care I need for my eyes we went from different contacts to different prescription vision to match what I need. I have never gotten to care like I'm so shocked that I got from them. This place is one of the best places ever been to and I've been to plenty of eye doctors. She really took the time. To find the right prescription for know I'm repeating myself, but like I'm just really amazed by the customer service that I got from this place and I also walked out with a free pair of contacts the same day instead of waiting for my prescription to come in great place I was care of very well. Also, the staff is amazing and sweet.

When setting up my…read moreappointment, I was informed that my insurance did not cover a mandatory retinal photography exam and that it would cost $39.00. After speaking with my insurance and providing the billing code for the procedure, I was told it was indeed covered and given the exact billing instructions. When I called back to discuss this with a male employee, he became hostile and insulting, insisting that the procedure was not covered and stating, "I don't care what you think about the insurance," before hanging up on me. It seems they prefer to avoid submitting the test to the insurer and get paid directly. This is a total rip-off. Stay away from this office. They are only interested in ripping you off and taking your money, basically stealing. My insurance even warned me never to pay them out-of-pocket.
