The recent changes to automated service was the beginning of the end for this place. But recently I dropped a number of items off to be dry cleaned including a down comforter. A week after drop off I picked up my order and was notified that only part of my order was available. The blanket was missing. So I waited. And waited. Now in the meantime I received numerous promotional texts from this company. Nothing from them regarding the blanket. Six weeks go buy and I call them. Apparently they need a form now for blankets- it was sent to an email address that was incorrect. No text follow up alerting me of the form. I give them my updated information. And I wait, and I wait- mind you I need this blanket!! I call again. They never update the email. Now I'm really getting annoyed. I voice my frustration- I get an apology. Ok great- I'm told a week. Week goes by- nothing. Now I'm getting multiple texts saying they need my credit card information on file.... So that you can get in touch with me for?? Huh. Well- I had no intention of giving them my credit card. And I told them so and how dissatisfied o wax was their service and that I would pay when I picked up my blanket like any other service a customer would use. I went today- they automatically open the locker- note on the blanket "rejected ". THEY NEVER SERVICED THE BLANKET!!! Sooo I warn anyone not to use this dry cleaner EVER. I'll never go back and I hope other people will head my advice and find another business instead.

I submitted a shirt and pants for cleaning and mending, respectively, and left a note specifying the services I needed for each item. I picked up the shirt with no issues, but when I returned for the pants, I was charged a fee for dry cleaning on top of the mending -- although I had not specified a desire for this service. The automated system used by Pier Cleaners wouldn't allow me to pick up my pants without paying for a service I hadn't even requested. Nobody was available on-site to assist with customer service, and the person I spoke with told me she would "pass along a note". Three days later, I still have not been contacted. I also reached out on their website contact to inform them of my issue. Management obviously has no problems with contacting me via text/email multiple times to leave a review, but apparently they can't be bothered to get back to me. It's an automated service made for convenience. However, if something goes wrong, it seems you're own your own. Use Pier Cleaners at your own risk.
