Not only was it less expensive than my original dress, it is BEAUTIFUL and fits me perfectly. Maybe most importantly their whole team pulled me out of the emotional gutter I was in. I had stopped by briefly a week earlier to check out the selection and let her know what kind of gown I need. When I came in to start my search, she had already put a few dresses aside for me that fit my needs. I really like that she let me look as much as I wanted without bothering me or looking over my shoulder, since I like to do my own thing when I'm shopping. While I tried on gowns, she gave me good honest opinions but was not pushy. Everything felt easy and fun, and Melissa was able to give me a good idea of how in-depth the alterations would be on a given gown. After trying on many gowns I settled on a gorgeous fitted number that is everything I wanted! Melissa could see my positve reaction, and she and her associate both agreed that it was the best one I'd tried. Although the dress is reasonably priced, she let me make payments on it, which works for me since I'm a girl on a budget. My mom, sister and I made an appointment for a Saturday morning, and Kayla made us feel right at home right away. She asked me what I had looked at previously, what I liked/ didn't like and what I was looking for. She pulled a few dresses and also let us pull a few dresses and then I tried them all on. She was really helpful in getting me to flesh out what I liked/ didn't like about certain dresses, and helping me trust my instincts. Eventually I found one that made me glow just from putting it on, and she helped me affirm that I had found the one! She even stayed open a little bit later on the night I was coming to pick up the dress as I had hit a bit of traffic on the way. As a control freak, I knew I wanted to plan out details with a vision in mind and hire the vendors that fit with it, but it was just as important that after so much planning I actually got to enjoy my wedding day! As a day-of coordinator Michaela started far in advance in organizing info from vendors and a timeline. She was a huge help filling in the gaps of things to consider for the ceremony and reception (like readings, toasts, dances, etc). She also helped with our walkthrough rehearsal and getting our bridal party organized right before for our ceremony (we almost forgot the rings but she luckily remembered!) on top of that she took care of tons of decor setup and breaking it down to pack up at the end of the night. Her attention to detail meant a lot to me because I had made personal artwork I wanted displayed throughout our venue. She took a big burden off our family who would have had to oversee those things even with some staff support from the venue, because there's just so much to think about! It's very hard after hours of drinking and dancing and pure excitement to remember every item. From the minute we reached out to Deborah in June of 2020, we knew we needed to work with her. She was unbelievably responsive, but most of all kind and compassionate. Within 20 minutes of speaking with her, we immediately booked her for Day of Coordinator services for our May 1, 2021 wedding. Throughout Fall 2020 and Winter 2021, Deborah continued to be responsive and listen to our worries and concerns. When we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person "micro wedding" on May 1, 2021 and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, Deborah was right there to assure us that everything would work out. Leading up to May 1st, we were assigned Kristin as our Day of Coordinator. Kristin met with us and helped to organize our wedding day itinerary, which still involved a decent amount of logistics even though we were still only having 50 people. She followed up with all of our vendors leading up to May 1st to confirm details and timing, as well. Both Deborah and Kristin showed up at our rehearsal on April 30th and even though we were meeting them in person for the first time, it felt like we had known them for years. They were prepared and knew the details of our mass in and out. On the morning of May 1st, Kristin texted us when she was on her way and asked if we needed any last minute items. As soon as she arrived, though, is when we saw the value of having the Deborah Minarik team with us in action. Kristin swooped in and ensured that every single detail (big and small) was handled accordingly. She checked in on the groom, dads and groomsmen to make sure they were all ready, made sure the bride, moms and bridesmaids had all eaten enough and set up all accessories for detailed photos. Kristin worked closely with our photographer and videographer throughout the day to make sure that every photo we wanted was taken and even held the cathedral veil and train throughout countless photos to ensure the perfect shot was taken. When we arrived at our venue, Kristin checked to make sure everything had been set up as requested. She even went to great lengths to find a banner we thought had gone missing and needed for a picture, and even offered to drive back to the hotel to get it (thankfully it ended up being under the sweetheart table). Not once during the day, did we stress about logistics. Kristin was a calming presence and we were so lucky to have her with us. Having her there throughout the day allowed us to be worry-free and truly enjoy every single moment. Hiring Deborah and her team was one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful that we'll get to work with them again in March 2022. We highly recommend booking them ASAP!

She kept everything and everybody on track, and there wasn't even the slightest hiccup of any kind throughout the entire day. Our parents initially weren't entirely on board with the idea of a day-of coordinator, but relented after the day went so smoothly. We were all able to fully enjoy the wedding, and be guests at our own party!
