I was also particularly surprised and delighted to discover that the consultations are covered by insurance are not subject to my deductible as it's considered preventative medicine. Starkel Nutrition (SN) even provides a list of questions, on their website, for you to ask your insurance company, which is helpful. Anna, their billing specialist, is extremely knowledgeable and is always able to answer my questions. I did a cleanse with SN in January and was worried I'd find it difficult to stick to the program, but it was so comprehensive and well thought through, I had no problem. They anticipated and addressed every 'obstacle' and question I had and provided excellent support and education. I learned a huge amount about nutrition and my health. Pre-cleanse I thought I was supporting my body with proper nutrition because I ate a lot of vegetables. However, I quickly realized after eliminating sugar completely, how much better I felt. For the first time in my life, I was properly nourished; I felt healthy, energetic and vibrant. I understood more deeply, how what I ate impacted me and how I felt. As a bonus, I also lost a huge amount of weight, which I'm proud to say I've kept off and, unbelievably, have also curbed my binge eating.
