Do you provide life jackets? Ben and the other folks at Paddle Cape Cod were very helpful on answering all of my questions! (Great Pond, half day, yes to life jackets!) And the delivery and pick up service could not be beat! They also helped us figure out where to park so we didn't get a ticket at Great Pond. They thought of everything! I thought it was really unique seeing the amount of crabs and other sea life around! There was some seaweed and other stuff along the sand, but that's pretty standard for a beach. I remembered from my youth that I used to bring my boat down to milway Marina for some help on my engine and I actually would work on it with them but that was over 50 years ago. So when I got there they no longer fix them right at the marina. But I talked to Ian, the service manager and he said they'd be able to take a look at it. Well he got in his boat and he went out to my boat on the harbor mooring diagnose the problem and fixed it right there. One of the valves from the gas tank was stuck shut and it was above my grade level. In the summer to get such service I must say I was very happy. He pointed out another problem that I hopefully will get fixed this fall with him. Couldn't have asked for better service.... It's amazing. Sometimes you go into the Marine shops during the summer and they say I just don't want any more business... Ian went out of his way to gain a new customer.

Captain Tom was knowledgeable and friendly and the deck hand, Mason, did everything to make our trip fun and exciting. The boat ride out was beautiful and when we got to fishing waters, we were pulling up a lot of fish! My mother in law had never been fishing before, and she caught two fish! All told, we caught about a dozen bluefish. On the way back to port, the deck hand took care of filleting our keepers. My daughter loved feeding the seagulls with the fish skin. Do you know how hard it is to make a 13 year old girl smile? She was grinning ear to ear. We will definitely rebook for next year.

The day pass also gives you access to other nearby Yarmouth beaches. They also host concerts some evenings so there's more going on than just the beach. One thing that really makes this beach unique is the number of seashells. There are thousands of them. If you enjoy collecting shells or just looking for unique ones, you'll have a great time. My son absolutely loved it. We visited in July and there was quite a bit of seaweed in the water so it wasn't the clearest beach. If crystal clear water is what you're after, there are probably better options nearby. That said, we still had a lot of fun collecting shells, building sand structures, and just enjoying the beach. There is also a small concession stand and an outdoor shower to rinse off before heading home.
