I was referred to an endodontist by a dentist I've seen for over 10 years because he felt that I…read moreneeded a root canal, but wouldn't touch the tooth involved because of a cap he put on 5 years ago. The tooth was not loose unlike another tooth upon which he had done a root canal, but the gum was painful after chowing down on homemade beef jerky so I was put on antibiotics. One day after starting the antibiotics my pain was gone and a month later when seeing this new endodontist it was the same. (I managed to get into this endodontist earlier plus he was "in network" re insurance.) Initially the dental assistant took a single Xray, placed a swab with topical anesthetic on the gum area with the involved tooth and said that the doctor would evaluate me to determine if I needed a root canal. Considering the circumstance I naturally questioned whether I needed a root canal and if I did why would I need to go back to my original dentist to get the cap hole repair done. After the physical exam I received a tongue lashing from the endodontist stating he wouldn't do the endo because I was "pissed off." But who was really "pissed off"? It seemed he was because I questioned his ability and that of my longtime dentist to accurately evaluate the situation and possibly perform an expensive procedure that probably wasn't really needed. I was told "No charge" for the visit so I got the original paperwork from my dentist and left. I contacted my insurer to let them know of what had transpired in the event that this endodontist submits an insurance claim for doing nothing. Ironically, this endodontist apparently also practices general dentistry (per the web site) so why he didn't state he could manage the entire procedure including closure of the cap is beyond me.

Dr. Gupta performed root canal. I was satisfied with the interactions and the outcome. I was a little annoyed, like another person here, I received a bill for the exact same service that the recommending dentist charged. The dentist did some x-rays to see what the problem was, and then referred me to this office for root canal. They also did an x-ray and it turns out it was the same one the dentist did. I got a bill for it later. My insurer said they would not pay for it because the dentist already charged for it. I am going to talk to them about it and see how they handle it. I did go with one picture of an x-ray from my dentist but maybe that wasn't enough for them, I'm not sure. But I would go back to them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sarah at Brielle Dentistry. I had two front, highly…read morevisible veneers replaced after a terrible experience less than 10 years ago with another dentist, and I was extremely hesitant to go through the process again. From the start, Dr. Sarah was confident, calm, and reassuring. She took incredible time and care with my temporaries--they were secure, comfortable, and shaped beautifully, which immediately put me at ease. For the first time, I wasn't worried they would fall out. When it came time for the permanent veneers, we were unsure about the color at first, but Dr. Sarah said to try them in and reassured me we could redo them if needed. She was right--they were a perfect match. She even scheduled a follow-up to make sure I was completely happy. Dr. Sarah and her assistant were patient, meticulous, and truly passionate about their work. After years of stress over this process, I finally feel at ease knowing my smile is in expert hands, and I'm so grateful I found Brielle Dentistry.

I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. Needless to say, I would never to back to them.
