I had an extremely horrible and unprofessional experience at Hair Revolution.

Overall Shoppers world is a decent mall, there are mostly mom and pop shops so if you're looking for more popular/ trendy stores it might be better to go to a different mall. I can't find anywhere to leave a review for this Hair Revolution so I will leave one here just to warn people. I had an extremely horrible and unprofessional experience at Hair Revolution. This is a warning! Avoid this place! I do not want anyone else to be humiliated and subjected to what I endured. I went for a colour and blow dry but did not receive either. The stylist did not know what he was doing. My hair was pulled, damaged and left tangled. I sat over an hour with dye in my hair while he went to barber someone else. At the end he was literally pulling random pieces of hair and running the blow dryer through it, some pieces numerous times while missing other sections, the pain was so unbearable I actually had to ask him to stop and then was given the brush to finish my hair myself. I was charged full price when I did not receive any service and then given his barber card .

I can't believe that I have never reviewed Heartland Town Centre. I've been visiting for years…read more Weird! Heartland Town Centre is your Mississauga mecca for shopping at box stores. Because it covers such a vast area, it's best to figure out which stores you'd like to visit and drive over to them. The stores range from outlets to regular retail. You also have eateries and professional services mixed in for good measure. My go-to stores tend to be Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Gap Outlet, and Krispy Kreme. The first two are next door from each other, so it's a two-for-one shopping extravaganza for me. I have found some nice merchandise at good prices at both stores. I love this Gap Outlet, as I have scored some nice discounts on jackets and clothing. I don't consume donuts often, but I love Krispy Kreme to the point where I've been known to do a donut run before heading back to the office. It takes me fifteen minutes to get here from my workplace. It's deadly and cool. Besides the stores that I have just mentioned, here's a running list of stores at Heartland that I have visited so far: - Bath & Body Works - Best Buy - Loblaws - Marshalls - Old Navy - Roots - Seafood City Supermarket Here are eateries that I have stuffed my face at: - Grill City - Heart Sushi - Jollibee - Tandoori Flame There are so many stores and eateries. I haven't visited them all yet. It'll take a while! Here are some stores and eateries that I'd like to visit: - Beanwise - Bergham - California Sandwiches - Copper Branch - Crocs - Mr Puffs - The Chopped Leaf I've never had any issues parking. I've dropped by on countless Saturdays and Sundays. It can get crazy, but I always find parking. It's cool shopping here. I feel the need to get some retail therapy now! (212)

I recently stayed in Vaughan for one night, close to the Brampton border. I was looking for a place…read moreto buy bubble tea for lunch the following day and found out that there's a bubble tea place at Westwood Square. I ventured out to this mall. I know this mall as Westwood Mall. When I worked at the old location of my current employer, I'd often drive up Goreway Drive to head home, and dropped by this mall now and again. It has been a good decade since I was last in this mall and it has changed. It used to be anchored by a Walmart. It was gone, which saddened me. It was a decent store that served this neighbourhood well. These days, you have Shoppers Drug Mart and Fresh Co. anchoring this mall. I do like the latter. The produce is fresh and it's a clean store that always has everything that I need. Although it looks nicer inside, it's a weird assortment of stores. I recognized the Scotiabank and that was it. Most are local. You get everything from luggage to cell phone accessories. The food court is on the second floor. It was where my bubble tea place is, but I never got that far. I ultimately got my beverages from Westwood Convenience on the main floor. Several people have mentioned that this mall has a sketchy vibe to it. I'd have to agree. The woman in front of me at the convenience store seemed incredibly out of it. She was looking for wrappers for her smokes. I couldn't tell whether she was in the lineup to pay. Frankly, I didn't think she knew, either! I'd return for Fresh Co. You can shop at this supermarket without going into the mall itself, which is what I like. Other than that, it serves the local community. However, it's such a shame that the Walmart is gone and folks need to drive further to find another one. (257)

I have been to Bramalea City Centre (BCC) twice within a week. This mall is growing on me. I came here twice for Glam Bar Bazaar that does permanent jewellery. I first discovered it when I was in Winnipeg a couple of summers ago. I was pleased to get an evil eye bracelet recently, but had to return because this permanent bracelet fell off my wrist and required re-attaching. I do like this mall because it has shops and eateries that I love: - Gap Factory Store - Jollibee - Uniqlo - Pickle Barrel - CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice I don't frequent malls regularly. I am more an outlet shopper. What's cool about BCC is that it has a Gap Factory Store. I visited it twice. I scored decent deals, including a Minnie Mouse tote that was 60% off. I also got a comfy pair of pants that were 30% off. I love Jollibee. I've only ordered the pineapple quencher and peach mango pie at this eatery by mall entrance 1. It's because I have dined here twice and stopped by Jollibee before driving home. My first dining experience at this mall was at California Thai at the north food court. There's a McDonald's next door. California Thai has a lot of chicken options. Portions are generous. My combo was yummy. There's also a CoCo bubble tea place at the north food court. It was low on strawberries and other ingredients when I was there. The south food court is larger. It has Edo Japan, Burger King, Shanghai 360, and more. I look forward to eating here one of these days. I did use the washroom that was at the south food court. A downside to this mall is that there aren't a whole lot of public washrooms that are advertised and it's a fairly large mall. The women's washroom at this food court was clean. The north food court doesn't have washrooms. However, Gap Factory Store has washrooms by the change rooms and is your closest washroom. I recently ate at Pickle Barrel. It was huge and a nice change of pace. I was here for happy hour. Take advantage of the various happy hour deals. You do save a bit. The food and drinks were yummy. Both times, I parked by mall entrance 1. I was here after work and didn't have any issues finding parking. It was great. I do find the touch-screen mall directory to be confusing. I used the directory online to figure out where to go instead. It would be helpful if you got a marker that said that you're here on this directory for new mall visitors like me. I like this mall. It's easy to visit from my workplace. I'll be back again soon. (173)

Great Place for Overall Fun !!…read more Located towards North Brampton, it encompasses all the things for a good day of fun. From Shopping to Food to Movies, you can relax and spend the entire day at this one stop shop! The complex is an extensive place and can be accessed through 2 Major Roads Bovaird and Sandalwood. Parking availability is great. One disadvantage to this is its an open Mall and the stores are located at distance from one another, depending on your choices, you may have to drive from one to another. For Basic Convenience, it has Metro 24hrs, Canadian Tire and Home Depot as well, all in one complex. The Tommy Hilfiger here is small in comparison to others. Same is with Party City, there was a cramped up line up when we went there. There is Staples and Source for electronic geeks. One store not to be found is GAP ! Homesense and Winners of this location are just ok. Food wise, the options are good, there is Pizza Pizza, Montanas, Brars, amongst others. Marble Slab Creamery also has its store here. From a deal perspective, unable to decide if it's an outlet mall or not, no where does it say Factory Store as such. The prices are normal with not much clearance in most stores. For Movie Goers, there's Silver City, the theaters are good and house the recent releases as well. So to summarize, it's a good place to shop, dine, movie and have a good day !!

This is especially true when the weather is nice and there's more pedestrians. Convenient? I suppose, all the TJX stores are here, Silvercity movie theatre, major chain stores/restaurants. It's also located right off the 410/Bovaird, so you can't miss it if you're in the area. I honestly think that this "mall" is more for the people who live nearby OR if you're in the area and happen to need to stop by one of the stores you see! Not really a destination for shoppers, just more for convenience. ***Be sure to check a store directory as it's an outdoor mall. Although they don't seem to have a website???***

I didn't realize until I got to the drug store that this closest one to my hotel was a part of a shopping mall. I don't visit malls all that often these days because they are a death trap as far as time and spending go. I am a shopper at heart and can spent hours at one. It was exactly what I did last weekend. From the outside, you can certainly tell which part was the original mall and which wing is relatively new. I looked at the new wing and it looked like it was detached from the mall. Nope, you can walk every part of it indoors without freezing outside in the wintertime. The store has a good selection of stores. It has many of my favourites, such as Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Showcase, DAVIDs Tea, SoftMoc, Showcase, and Shoppers Drug Mart. There are plenty of places to sit down if you are too pooped to shop. The target shopper seems to be folks 60 years of age and higher, which could explain all the places for folks to sit down, chat with friends, and enjoy a beverage. Although I'm not in that demographic, it sounds pretty good to me! Signs are clearly displayed to help guide you around the mall. There is free wifi if you do need to connect online. There is a food court. I didn't eat there, but there are many options to choose from. And, yes, there's a Timmy's to get your double-double fix on. I had lunch at Sunset Grill on my final day in Hamilton. It was Family Day and this mall was closed. However, Sunset Grill has its own entrance at this mall, so I was happy to have lunch here. I used one of the women's washrooms at this mall last Saturday. It was clean and maintained frequently. It's a good mall if you want something smaller than Lime Ridge Mall, but has pretty much everything you need. I'd return to shop here again. (76)
