For some reason, the staff don't seem to like it there. Staff at Willoughby seem much friendlier and happy to be there. Attached Starbucks is a nice plus. Get a large latte to power through the weekly shop. Bakery is pretty good but sells out of stuff fast. Seasonal clearances can be had at wicked deals. Just wait for pool toys, garden stuff, etc cause they will be on clearance for more than 50% off.

Over the years I have gradually found customer service slowly but surely going downhill. The staff appear to dislike seniors and are both unfriendly and unhelpful. Today proved just how little they think of customer service. I was going to use the pickup service and was happy that there was a slot available for today. I picked a time slot and then commenced my shopping. It was a large order ($250.00) and it took me some time to put together. Time came to checkout and upon almost completing checkout was advised that my time slot was gone and I would have to choose a time for tomorrow. Due to prior commitments this was impossible. As I thought that time may have been on my side I called the online customer service who kindly contacted the store. They were advised by the store there was only one person available on staff to complete orders and they were going home in 20 minutes so........ NO they could not complete my order. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and that will be my last use of this Walnut Grove Save on Foods. So very disappointing!!!!!!!!!

It was.much to small to serve 40 people. There must have been some miss communication on the order that day. But the bakery employee was super rude and even laughed at them pulling out a measuring tape to prove that the order was right. They came home super upset and embarrassed that they were miss treated. After speaking to Brent and explaining the miss understanding and the miss treatment....He pulled out a super hero cape with the help of two other young ladies in the Bakery deparpatment and wipped up another cake last minute and saved my Birthday celabration. I ask the lady clerk Candace something about a cake for my son's birthday and immediately her actitud wasn't a good one. she is trying to intimidate customer with her rude response. It was early morning when I went and I ask her why she was treating me like this when I have being polite asking. she said that she is like that every day. I said "that's not the way you should treat customers if I am not talking in a bad manners to you". she screamed at me and call her coworker to help me. she left screaming that she won't help. I always shop at save on food and this is the first time something like this happens.
