I worked with Helen Victoria for my hair and she was so responsive and helpful leading up to my wedding day. My mother in law and best friend had their hair done by Molly and were equally impressed with their results! All of us had our makeup done by Michelle Sachs and she is so good! The makeup looked stunning and held up all day but felt so light on our skin. In addition to all of us being very happy with how we looked, we were also so well taken care of by the entire staff at the salon. They ensured we had the coffee, tea or water needed at all times, they allotted space for my wedding dress for the day and allowed us to get ready in one of the open esthetician rooms and even relax in the break room when we were all ready for the event. Our previous stylist took early retirement due to the pandemic. We looked around and found K+Co in our neighborhood. We checked out the reviews on Yelp which were excellent. We also did not want a large salon as we are limiting our contacts. K+Co is a small, two stylist shop and they try to schedule appointments so that both stylists and their clients are not there at the same time. They don't always succeed at this but they try. I use Katie who does men's hair and my wife uses Kelly who does women's hair. We have both been very pleased with the quality of service we have received. We have also appreciated the attention they have given to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus by careful masking, sanitation and scheduling. We highly recommend K+Co.

I've been coming to Hair-O-Smith regularly since April 2018, when I decided to do my side shave and having already had my first positive experience the previous July when I did a simple trim and dye to hide those pesky grays for a wedding I was in. Alison has been my gal and she's awesome. We usually just do a monthly touch up on my side shave (husband does one in between cause my hair grows so fast and I can't afford going there THAT many times lol), but I've been branching out more recently and we've started to do little designs in the shave and I recently added some red to the front for funsies. I just shoot her a text a few days before I'm ready to come in and she has no trouble fitting me in. The NE location is convenient as well because I can just pop over real easily during lunch or after work. I never thought I'd be the girl who went to the salon, but for this one at least I'm glad to have found a chill and laid back place!
