The beef is high quality but I wish they offered some higher quality pork and chicken. All chicken is "all natural" and without hormones, as those are illegal. This labeling is misleading and shouldn't be allowed. Without certification of what it eats and whether it's humanely raised, t's just standard chicken that ate god knows what, probably lived in crowded conditions, etc. On my first visit I got a chuck roast which was wrapped in butcher paper as it should be in a traditional butcher shop. On my second visit I got stew meat, which they didn't have but offered to cut up some chuck and then packaged it on a styrofoam plate with cellophane. I went a few miles out of my way to this place solely because I wanted to save another piece of the styrofoam and piece of plastic wrap bull crap from going to a landfill. I asked the guy if he could change the packaging so we can save the styrofoam and he said no problem and then proceeded to discard the tray in the trash. Then proceeded to put the meat in a plastic bag after I said I don't want a bag. FACEPALM. I truly don't understand how everyone is so blind to the insane amount of single use plastic is going into landfills and our oceans. Especially in more conservative areas like this area. It's almost like people in these areas don't want to consider the environment and think it's silly and stupid to do so. At least that's the feeling I got after leaving here.

I noticed that the hamburger was not in 2 pound packages like I specified and paid extra for so when I got home, I had to repackage the hamburger into 2 pound packages. then I got to wondering if I actually got 100 pounds of meat like they post about on their Internet site and the gentleman behind the counter even said you have 100 pounds of good looking meat here, well when I weighed it on my big scale it only came out to 80 pounds that alone would be a very small cow. I emailed Chad about this numerous times and even called and left a message on his business phone and he has refused to contact me about the situation. to me that's very dishonest business man and would have to say will never go back to this meat market

This time the burrito was made right but the steak was so dry, almost like it had been sitting there pre-cooked all day. We also asked for no rice and guacamole, it was more than half filled with rice and there was less than a teaspoon of guacamole in this huge burrito. It had great flavor other than that. I was offered a refund and they also offered to replace it but I refused. I just wanted to let them know that the food quality was not good this evening.
