Did a little bit of routine grocery shopping today, but had to point out how well organized and…read morestocked shelves were since we had our "big" snow here. Everyone who I encountered, whether it be stocking or at the check out had smiles on their faces. It was actually pleasant, and when I finished loading my groceries, and kids back into the car, a wonderful gentleman, whose name I wish I had gotten offered to take my cart so I wouldn't have to leave my children. I've noticed many great employees like him recently, and it makes shopping there so much nicer!

Also, I love the Town of Stuart! Staff are friendly and helpful. The store always has plenty of shopping carts and it is clean. I really enjoy shopping in the Garden Center and Hardware/Home sections, too. This store has a lot of home repair and finishing items as there is not really a hardware store (Lowe's) in town. Holiday section is smaller than most but it still has plenty to choose from. There is a Pharmacy and Bakery in this store, too. This store may not have the exact brand you are looking for but there is always an Equate version. Definitely worth the drive because I never leave stressed out!

Made fresh, in front of you using premium ingredients, and made just how you want it, they give sub shops a lot to stand up to. The guy helping us in the deli didn't hold back, didn't skimp on the ingredients and made it perfectly cheesy even toasting it twice until it was exactly as we wanted. After checking out we decided to stop in to their small cafe area to eat quickly as we could see it was juicy and didn't want to make a mess eating it in the car. The sandwich was absolutely delicious with lots of chopped chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms and we switched from American cheese to provolone...it absolutely hit the spot and curbed our hanger. I'd never stoped at this public before, but would again, it was very well kept and clean, and I'd definitely get this sandwich again given the opportunity!

Today she suggested stopping in at the new Publix at West Edge off Meadowlark Drive and Robinhood Road. The store opened mid-November 2023 and is the newest Publix in the area. The large store offers a full service deli, produce department, bakery, wine department, meat department, seafood department and pharmacy with drive-thru. The store hours are daily from 7am to 9pm. The pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. The store is VERY well organized, clean and modern. Each of the departments were very well stocked and the staffing among the different areas of the store seemed appropriate. The employees also seemed friendly and approachable but we didn't have a specific question or concern while visiting. We purchased a dozen or so items as we wandered the aisles and were very impressed. Publix is not one of our weekly stops but we do think this is a very nice store and will keep it in mind in the future. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Your weekly flyers every week (and thanks for that as well)always have something that is not available at this store. Two years ago the flyer advertised live Christamas trees. And guess who had none? Not sold out, but never available at this store. We did not need one. But there were some shoppers looking sad about it. And the way you load your inventory to the instacart app is a bait and switch. Put in a specific item and the app shows every thing in the section. You do not have the item, but you let the exact name to be typed in. How rude. Corporate again. We know you are a small market in a small town. And you have Walmart looming. But still. Can corporate at least try to show some respect to us locals? It used to, back in the day when the black bear perused your dumpsters. If we are wanting to be a specific brand of product, and you do not have it, do not put it in the app. Look, we were so glad when opened your store here. This is such a quaint, peaceful little farm! It's not far from Winston-Salem and perfectly located…read moreif you're heading back to the city after hiking around Hanging Rock State Park. From the moment we arrived, we could tell it's a place that is truly loved and cared for. The owners walked over to greet us, showing us the short-haired sheep, goats, donkeys, runner ducks, turkeys, and three beautiful Great Pyrenees dogs--all of whom seem well loved and completely at home. The owner shared that he's been here since 1992 (a former city kid who always dreamed of having a farm like his grandparents did), and that lifelong dream truly shows in every detail. When he invited us into the store, it felt like discovering a treasure chest. It's small, but packed with thoughtfully curated goodies: handmade soaps from multiple local makers, a variety of local honeys, fresh goat cheese produced on the farm, Amish butter from Ohio, Amish jams, goat-la-to (a goat-milk gelato that's unique to this farm), a variety of meats, candles made by local Boy Scouts, Christmas ornaments, and books and toys for children. What really stood out was how deeply the owner knows and loves everything he sells. He happily shared stories, explained the different textures of the cheeses, and talked through how he would cook each type of meat. We picked up some cheese, lamb, and goat-la-to--which we ended up finishing on the drive because it was so unique and delicious, like shaved ice topped with creamy milk and vanilla. We cannot recommend visiting this farm enough--not only for the fairly priced, high-quality products, but also for its strong commitment to supporting other local businesses (all the products are clearly marked with their sources) and, most of all, the genuine passion behind it. So much of the space is thoughtfully designed with children and families in mind. When we noticed the turkeys, the owner explained that they aren't "commercial"; they keep a few simply because kids enjoy seeing them, along with the runner ducks. The baby goats are brought out occasionally so visitors can pet them, and it's obvious how gently and thoughtfully the animals are treated--the goats clearly loved being petted and even ran over to us. This little farm is the what I think of when I see someone pours heart and lifelong passion into their work. Highly recommend anyone with an interest in farm animals, dairy products, or local goods to stop by and see it!!

But it's a cozy little spot. They also desperately need to expand their seating area for the beer den. Good selections, you can always grab anything from their fridge and they sell it to you for such a great price! Pro-tip: Only place I've seen that will sell milk at $0.99 if it's close to the expiration date which is a big deal for me!

The butcher "manager" came out to talk to us red faced and was quite irate. "Looks good to me" he says. Threw the bag of meat on the scale and said "you ate some!" Long story short...we left annoyed,.embarrassed of the scene he made, with no, "can we do anything to make up for it?" We weren't looking for full refund, just basically to make him aware. This "manager" was as rude and belligerent as could be. We were calm and so taken back by his attitude. This guy needs to stay away from customers period! This is why people shop at the big stores, customer service IS a big deal.
