We drove over two hours and spent nearly $1,500 on a bulk beef order from here, and the experience…read morewas very disappointing. The order itself had several issues: packing instructions on the cut sheet weren't followed, a cut of meat was missing, ordering guidance was unclear, and the final yield was much lower than what was represented. The overall cost ended up higher than comparable retail pricing. When I later called with questions about discrepancies, I was spoken to aggressively, blamed, and repeatedly hung up on. Eventually, my calls were no longer answered. I believe customers making a large purchase deserve clear communication and basic respect. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here. I can't recommend this shop.

Undoubtedly one of the best butcher shop markets in the entire state of West Virginia. And one of…read morethe most quaint, friendly and well stocked market I've ever seen. The market is located in one of the most historic towns in the state. Beverly was one of the oldest settlements West of the Appalachians, and the colonial, Federal and Civil War architectural relics are everywhere in town. And in the middle of it, lies Campbell's Market. Entering Campbell's market is a trip back to the days of country general stores. There is a little bit of everything in the dry goods department, baking goods, canned items, local jams and marmelades, and then in the rear of the store, the piece de resistance, the meat counter. Campbell's meat selection is as fresh as any butcher can make it. The steaks are flawless and can be cut in front of you. Their briskets are gigantic. The selections of ground beef are varied and fresh. And the charcuterie items are on the sides. An expansive collection of cheeses completes the store. If you're spending several days in Snowshoe, Seneca Rocks or the Elkins area, a visit to Campbell's is a must.

I called corporate customer service and said the only recourse I have is to cancel the order and WAIT for the funds to be released. Walmart does not care about customers and apparently the manager at this walmart does not care about profits being in a tourist area. I , like an idiot, even paid for walmart +! I wish we ( customers) had options to hold these stores accountable. Corporate better wake up and take control of this store or their profits will suffer. Tourist season is just about upon us!

You can tell that this location was one that they just hurried up and built. There are multiple…read morereasons as to why it appears that way. They took advantage of the fact that it is near a tourist area. They also took advantage of attempting to lure shoppers here. Another reason as to why it looks like the built in a hurry, they made it a supercenter, but built it too small. The inside of this thing is way too small to be consider a supercenter in terms of size. With the smaller floorplan you get a smaller selection of items. I noticed that was a complaint in at least one other review. I also noted that in another review, if you are not paying attention, you will bypass this place. Although I do not agree that it is good for any given area to have a Walmart. It comes off as convenient in the spur of the moment, but it really hurts a community most times. Walmart isn't the end all for shopping. Especially when it is as small as it is and doesn't really have that much in regard to variety. Alright, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. It was just a quick stop for me as I wasn't really needing anything, but since I was out I stopped in. I did a quick once around the store to see if there was anything I needed. Of course, per usual, you come in here with no intentions on buying things and you end up with an armload of items before you know it. I grabbed a few items, paid and made my way back out to the car. Parking lot is a bit of a mess, but what parking lot isn't?

When you return empty bottles, the machine does NOT provide a return ticket. On several occasions, my husband has been asked by the lead Sales Associate for his exchange ticket. We have briefly interacted with this lovely woman for years; however, the fact is she knows the Primo machine does not provide exchange tickets when she's asking you for the ticket. On another occasion, a younger Sales Associate did the same thing and then told my husband they are trying to make sure people are being honest. We cannot drink our well water and purchase Primo exchange bottles at Food Lion routinely. To avoid this accusatory encounter, I have now resorted to self-checkout. To do so, simply search for the product by typing "Primo" and select the 5 gallon exchange. The lead Sales Associate will still give judgmental looks, but she can't do anything about self-checkout personal accountability. The honor system does not work if you're going to routinely accuse your customer base of theft. Fix the Primo exchange machine and then you will fix the problem.
