The sandwich is so good I had to come here twice in one week! While service is very minimal at this take-out counter in a food court, the SANDWICH is mind-blowing! It's the crispiest, most tender chicken katsu topped with their everything mac salad, kimchi aioli, and awesome sauce between Hawaiian roll buns. It came out steaming hot and fresh. I believe their mac salad has some sort of fish or tuna in it? But even so, it was so bland with a hint of fishiness. The spam musubi was fine. I think we may have waited too long before eating it because the sauce on top re-crystalized? So you could taste the "sugar crunch." I'm sure if you had it fresh there would not be this problem (I hope). The kimchi butter katsu chicken was unfortunately very dry. In dire need of sauce or flavor. We love the shootz location at Rodeo 39 and were excited they opened one in south OC! We got the shrimp plate which was amazing! They only sell bottled water and do not make cups of water available for customers. The food quality is the same though.
